Crazy huh?? Must have been that good training camp chicken they are serving down there......

Seventh-round LB Austin Spitler lost 12-14 pounds after a recent bout with salmonella.

Spitler spent two nights in the hospital, "basically on his death bed," earlier in the week. The special teams candidate has resumed practicing after beginning to regain some of the weight.

Not to pimp the Club Level, but this was reported there maybe 3-4 days ago via an inside source.

    It is worth it.

Cannot speak about salmonella, but had food poisoning from bad chinese food. Ain't nothing fun about puking in the bathtub while you can't get off of the crapper. Couldn't leave the bathroom for 48 hours and just wanted to die. Still took several days to get hydrated and feeling back to normal. I can't imagine trying to strap on pads and practice in the South Florida humidity. Kid's got heart, I'll give him that.

We had inside info on this in club level several days ago.

Sometimes we get inside info that sources prefer to share in a private forum and we have to respect that.

Unfortunately some members dont respect that and post that info on other boards or inform their friends in the press. When that happens the sources tend to dry up.

    Its not about being elitist.

What is so great about the club level, Im not trying to sound like a dick, im just curious. what can I see in there beside the occasional "inside source" spilling the beans about food poisoning. Can u guys give me like a top 5 reasons or something. I need to be sold.

Marty covered me for a short admission to Club and it's one of the most amazing places to be. I've been buying ever since. You get in depth articles and discussions and inside info - I can't be more specific but this isn't the first time we've learned something that wasn't reported in the media. Forget NFL network you need to get Club.

Same here, as broke as we are, I couldn't give up Club, it is just way too valuable. Incredible bang for the buck if you are a serious fan and follower of the Fins. Think about it, $2/month for some of the best intel on the dolphins to be found on the internet, show me a better value than that !

    1) Insider Information. Like the news about Austin, or injuries, or trades, or little birdies. Club has always been a good source of info.

    2) In depth analysis of Draft/Game Breakdowns/Football in General Club has helped me increase my football overall IQ tremendously. I lightweight want to get into coaching now.

    3) Well Regulated. (Not saying the mains aren't good. But club level encourages the sifting through the meaningless and emphasizes substance. Most posts in Club are about something. People really take pride in their posts there.

    4) Exclusive Chats. Sometimes chats will be set up for Club only. During games or during drafts. You kinda get to see what others see when they watch the game and get your football IQ up.

    5) You are contributing to your fan community. I've been with this site and the old site for some years. I've even donated. I don't talk much there because those guys in there are pretty knowledgeable. I mostly lurk but I read every post that goes by. Good things in life deserve to be invested in. You are a Dolphins fan and should invest in the site. Unless you enjoy waiting for Mando to give you your news.

    6) Family. The people in club are probably fanatics and aren't going to go anywhere. People in the mains come and go and faces change and boards change. But the people in the club pretty much stay the same. Everyone has their niche and their own columns. It's really neat. I know when draft time rolls around...who's going to have info. I know when the season rolls around...who's going to have info. I know when someone is injured...who's going to have info.

You may have noticed we dont promote Club membership .We dont have to .Word of mouth and our club members do the job .

We knew a certain player was going to be traded half an hour after he found out himself and days before the press got wind of it.

There are numerous other insider tips we have received but they are occasional in nature.

Thats not what Club is about .Its about in depth coverage from some very knowledgeable writers, gurus ,scouts and members .Generally speaking its a hard core group who have been Club members for years.

Yeah the club does sound pretty cool, I will probably go ahead and check it out.....although I will say, I am never going to be on a computer during the game.......I dont have the attention span for it, I never even sit down during the game, always standing and pacing around....haha!!

i''m sure that the club is great and gives ya lots of benifits, these are people that pay to talk Dolphin football. I'd hope its very serious

I think theres alot of places to chat that arent hard to get to try: Med's justin.tv page or mine

    http://www.justin.tv/siciliansith

EVEN Though WE ARE NOT BROADCASTING THERE IS A CHAT ROOM AVAILABLE! NOW TRUE YOU CAN'T MODERATE IT UNLESS THE OWNER OF THE ROOM IS THERE ITS STILL COOL.

ALSO YOU CAN SET UP YOUR OWN.

You guys are being ridiculous. Club is available to anyone willing to pay. If you aren't willing to pay, thats your choice not the people in Club, who established it, etc.

The thing I prefer best about Club is the quality of threads/posts. People put together some great write-ups/breakdowns of aspects of the team: blocking schemes/defensive schemes/formations/tendencies, etc...

I've learned an absolute ton just reading threads/posts in there...

The truest value for the Club Level is during the lead up to the draft, and in season articles, and things that get written. It's nothing against the mains, but it is what it is.

We get information regarding a wide range to topics. It's really up to the individual involved, some like it more than others, but that's life.
