http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/15750/pennington-getting-used-to-backup-role From Tim Graham:
The fact that he wants to finish what he started in 2008 with knowing that it means being on the sidelines just makes me respect Chad that much more. I love that he is apart of this team.
gotta say that's the most impressive quote I've heard from Pennington (or just about any player) ever. This guy is the definition of selfless.
after reading that i will never bad mouth him again. not enough people with that kind of attitude in today's game. he won me over with that quote
He even steals reps(mental) while chad henne is getting them...God if only our whole team could learn from this dedication.
I always like CP, even when he donned the puke green. These quotes are about as awesome as I've ever seen a Dolphin offer.
I really respect Chad and how he is handling Henne and his role on the team. He's not a bad #2 QB either.
Honestly, I remember going to the movies with my uncle who is a bills fan and joking that we picked up noodle arm. I have been so impressed since at this guys character and dedication to the team. Rock On Penny.
Just been listening to Armando and the Amigo, and they were talking about the possibility of CP being traded to the Vikings due to the Favre retirement. So if Favre does retire, I can see this being very possible. Would be nice to get that 2nd round pick back though!
NOT A FAN OF THE MOVE UNLESS WE GET A SECOND OR BETTER! I easily could see the Vikes looking for a vet, and chad is gotta be in the discussion. Who else is out there? Edit; If we show case him in preaseason and he can make the throws i think the Vikes might look at him end of August if Favray doesn't come back.
I mentioned the second rounder above. I believe he is a great back up and in todays NFL back ups play a few games. So I think while he;s on way out we need quality back-up coaches
he won't be traded. Pennington is the dolphin insurance policy for 2010 & a future dolphin coach thereafter
would love for that to be the case. CP is turning out to be one of my favorite Dolphin's of all time with the way he helped turn our team around and his leadership
