Oglesby didn't even practice the entire camp IIRC. He was injured or ill, one of the two.

Cheap insurance Alen, who knows someone may have gotten injured and they needed a camp body, so they froze him until they needed someone else in a different spot.

    C'mon Adalius Thomas.

    Eh, to be expected.

Good to hear, I was more impressed that he knew all of the calls on Defense.

Give Vontae a hurry on a corner blitz vs. Henne in team drills

    MikeBerardino
Dansby, post blister, blew up Ricky on a screen in the left flat

    MikeBerardino

Starks jumps offside vs. Grove. A little veteran magic from the center?

Oglesby can thank Nolan Carroll for his release. And gonorrhea. But mostly Carroll.

    Per mando'

Carroll with 2 pick sixes in 2 days.

Incognito seems a bit soft to me, he cannot handle speed, and Charles Grant is pushing him around..that ain't good leon.

Proctor is like a door knob...

Well, put it this way, during OTA's Cam Wake ran a stunt and reportedly blew by Rotten Richie...

More snap observations from someone who may have played football

    My boy Ikaika still representin'...

Odd thing is, typically Sparano loves to mix lineups up on Defense as well, that #2 unit has been stable so far this TC.

Anyone else think Rotten Richie is in hot water?

-- Dolphins sign ex-Kentucky ILB Micah Johnson to replace Edds. Johnson is known for run stuffing and pass rushing more than coverage. He was in Giants camp for OTAs. He's wearing No. 57.

-- Karlos Dansby had to get both ankles retaped but he said it was just a blister on his left foot.

-- Nolan Carroll ended practice with interception of Chad Pennington in the flat.

-- Quick slants inside the 10. Aren't they just going to send jump balls to Brandon Marshall?

-- Team did some work on Pat White package, option, etc.

-- Julius Pruitt dropped a pass in coach throw drill.

-- Austin Spitler has a heavy bandage on his nose. Could that be his "under the weather" ?

-- Grice-Mullen back on the bike.

-- Guard combo of Donald Thomas and John Jerry just got extra snaps w/ 3's. Lotsa mixing in matching on o-line as usual.

-- Early drops by Turner, Lumbala and Cobbs in over-the-shoulder drill.

-- Getting our first look at Richie Incognito at left guard, something Sparano seemed to rule out during OTA's.

-- Scout from Hamilton Tiger-Cats is here. Man those brown-gold colors are padres-ugly.

-- Austin Spitler isn't practicing but taking mental reps.

-- Joe Berger is 2nd team center, still swapping with Jake Grove every practice. Procter is No. 2 right guard.

With Edds out, the fourth ILB spot (after Dansby, Crowder, and Dobbins) is now wide open. Micah Johnson, Folsom and Spitler will be competing for a single spot. Should be fun to watch.

Like many, I was high on Micah Johnson coming out. Obviously he cannot replace Edds as a nickel LB against the pass, but Im hoping he shows something against the run. Brandon Spikes also ran a 5.06 at the combine and it didnt stop Bellicheck from drafting him in the second round.

Johnson's not close to Spikes though, IMO. He's simply not very good IMO.

Good idea. And while we're at it, lets have Misi learn FB and TE as well, more bang for the buck :shifty:.

    Interesting.

    RickyWilliams
I've been drinking coconut water for a few yrs now. That's what I drink to replenish my body after workouts or during games.

    RickyWilliams

I drink Vita Coco, but my teammate Greg Camarillo will sometimes bring me coconuts from his back yard and that's when I drink the real thing

    RayRice27

I been drinking a lot of coconut water lately it's been helping not cramp up during camp my NFL buddies get on that coconut water asap

I think I've heard of that before, specifically for the cramping issue. Though I think Emmitt Smith's trick was to drink a bottle of pedialyte.

I was born in Hawaii with an allergy to milk. The locals told my mom that coconut water and rice water will do wonders. No longer have the milk allergy, but I can say that my early development was not stunted by being raised on coconut and rice water.

I've had coconut water straight from the coconut in India and it definitely hydrates you. My favorite though is freshly pressed sugar cane juice. It hydrates and gives you a natural boost of energy. Beats pickle juice.

coconut water is a good thing
    especially on a tropical island
    like Miami
    in these troubled NFL waters
put some lime in the coconut
    & Run Ricky Run!
