One word... HOT. Thats the first and last impression. I thought last year was hot, it was pretty bad out there today. Seemed like a solid turnout, but I expect a lot more tomorrow. I was there about 12/12:15. They opened the gates and 1 and the players started coming out around 1:20 or so. As soon as Brandon came out of the tunnel the crowd went crazy cheering for him. First team O-line: John Jerry was LG, Corey Procter at RG, Jake Grove C, Vernon Carey RT, and of course Long at LT. First Team Defense: Langford LDE, Starks NT, Odryck RDE, Misi WOLB, Dansby WILB, Crowder SILB, Wake SOLB, Clemons S, Bell SS, Davis LCB, Smith RCB 1 on 1's: Some that really stand out are Odryck vs. Long, Starks vs Grove, Wake vs Haynos, Incognito vs. Crowder. Here are some of the 1 on 1 pics: Odryck vs Long: Odryck really looked like he stood his ground and played with great leverage and hands. He even got a nice push on Long. Dansby and I think thats Berger but I don't recall: Wake vs. Haynos Dansby and Crowder drinkin the gatorade..or is it Title? Odryck: The guy is chiseled out of granite. Will Allen vs. Marshall
Even Parcells and Ireland stopped by in their golf cart. Hartline warming up: Incognito: Tony "Slim" Sparano: Camarillo: Sheridan, LB's Coach Sean Smith had a rough day at practice. Brandon Marshall made him look silly a couple of times out jumping and just separating from him, even leaving Sean Smith on his @$$ on one play. I'll be posting more pics soon but I wanted to end this thread with Sparano's new shirt. It reads "I'm Starving, Feed The Wolf."
Lol some of you old guys with your bad vision, I wanted to make sure you can see the pics. No but seriously I didn't know they were going to come out so big. But hey, the bigger the better right?
Great photos, thanks for posting them, NolePhin. That said, you really need to resize them before posting next time.
I believe that first one is of the man upstairs himself handing the ball down to Marshall and wishing him a good training camp.
right click, show image in new window, see image in regular size. guy stood out in the heat all day and took the pictures, do some of your own damn work and appreciate the fact we've got guys in pads kickin ***!
The images are displayed in their real size in the thread, but the problem is that they're oversized. When you display them in their own tab or window, modern browsers will scale them down to fit the available screen space. Basically, you've got it backwards.
Yes. I appreciate these pics and so happy the season is here. Thanks! @ anlgp: What browser are you using?
Any modern browser will resize images when displayed standalone in a new tab or window. Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.
Nice pics NolePhin, I will try to make it tomorrow afternoon, its the family thing so that will probably be packed tomorrow. I am probably going again on Wednesday.
Can you show the missing 3rd pic of the Wake-Haynos series...... where Joey is on his a$$. Thank you.
These pics locked up my laptop twice...thanks for that! But also, thanks for sharing. Maybe next time we can have them re-sized to somethign that can't be seen from space?
Haynos looks as if he finally put on some weight, granted Cam ended up defeating him, but Joey H looked like he had some biceps instead of stick arms in that photo.
Awesome pics, Nole. Great job, and thanks a bunch! Those of us who cannot go to the practices really appreciate the pics and the camp info.
I'm using Opera and just tapping the - key changes the perspective of the photos. Sparano looked like he was digging watching Wake and Haynos battle it out.
Outstanding! Some six months after purchasing, this now somewhat dusty 27" monitor, a shocking impact of brilliant color, suddenly spans across my field of view, an awe-inspiring breadth of the Dolphins practice field, nearly prompts me to reach for my shades, and from 2400 miles away, the larger than life arrival of the Dolphins Football season is realized like never before. Thanks for sharing the view NolePhin!
Those pictures are enormous. Unfortunately I couldn't look at them b/c it slows my computer down too much. But it's the thought that counts. Thanks.
Thanks for the pics. It's like we are standing right there. Awesome clarity. What camera and lens are you using?
