There has been a trade. In return for the 1st overall pick, the kansas city chiefs send miami the number 5 overall pick, the #35 overall pick and their 2nd round pick in 2009. With the first pick in the 2008 nfl draft, The Kansas City chiefs select Jake Long, OT, Michigan

    (then shortly later..)
with the 5th pick in the 2008 nfl draft, the miami dolphins select Vernon Gholston, DE, Ohio State

that would sound about right to me

I want a big trade down for a boatload of picks. I know the likelihood of this happening are slim but we need help in many areas.

A good scenario. Hopefully we could snag a later round picks (get that Trent Green one back!!) as well.

I picked Jake Long for us though, just makes way to much sense.

You need a choice for : Dolphins Win, Dolphins Win!!!

We sure didn't hear enough of that last year and I really don't care who the name is on draft day as long as they help us win a few next year.

I really would be happy with any of those scenarios. I voted for Jake though, because I still see the O-line as our biggest need. however id love to hear we traded down!

We have a trade. The Dolphins trade the first pick to go back in time to unscrew up last year's draft and select Brady Quinn!

Just kidding. But I do hope for the trade.

I know Im in the minority here, but I dont know how everyone on this board got so HIGH on Chris Long. I like the guy as a player. Intense, high motor.

Worthy of the No. 1 pick? Im sorry, no. Top 5 pick? Any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

So unless we get him at a ridiculous bargain by signing him before the draft, Id rather stick with a guy who could be a franchise OL for years to come.
