    Slightly left of center
Can't argue with any of that but I would have added who is going to step up at FS as one of the top three.

I'm not even going to read the article. I'm going to predict to the best of my ability what a MiamiDolphins.com writer would probably write, if they were writing an article about 10 things to look for in training camp. Ok, here goes, tell me how close I get:

    1. How awesome will Chad Henne be? My guess is super duper awesome, but he might actually be ridonkulously super boffo awesome, and that would be an interesting development. A real feather in Bill Parcells' and Jeff Ireland's caps.

    2. How totally rad will Brandon Marshall really look? Most of us assume, with good reason, that he'll be the best wide receiver in the history of the planet. But, what if he's even better than that? Something to ponder.

    3. Will the OL gel into a unit capable of pushing the moon out of orbit? This is a legitimate question, because there's some competition at a few of the spots. We may have to wait a few weeks before we figure out what players elevate their game to Super Gundam status to where they can help the rest of the offensive line move astral bodies with ease.

    4. Will Ricky and Ronnie look like their All Pro selves, or will they take a few days to get going? Ronnie Brown is naturally an All Pro, when healthy. But he needs to show that he can hit the ground running, so to speak. Ricky Williams has reached enlightenment. He can avoid tacklers through intense meditation and positive thinking. But he might not be able to handle 35 carries a game, at his age. The Dolphins need them to resume their status as the best backfield in NFL history sooner, rather than later.

    5. Will the new coaches be ten times more awesome than the old coaches, or just five times? Newcomers like Bill Sheridan and especially Mike Nolan have small shoes to fill, considering they have feet the size of Buick LeSabres. At some point you wonder if some of the players (the ones that won't make the roster) will be overwhelmed by how much more awesome these coaches are compared with their predecessors.

    6. How attacking will the new defensive scheme be? The new scheme is rumored to dictate to offenses by attacking their weakest points, playing chess as the offense plays checkers, while keeping things simple so that the players can make plays. It will be aggressive and fundamentally sound, allowing players to confuse offenses and attack them with fundamentally sound techniques and attack-oriented key reads. The players will be allowed to make plays, as the schemes attack and confuse offenses with complicated pre-snap movements and rotations between man and zone coverage. It should be fun to watch it all unfold.

    7. How many practice sacks will Cameron Wake average, per day? Fifteen? Twenty-five? I leave this as an open question. Personally, I will take the conservative route and say about twenty sacks per day while he continues to get his feet wet and learns Mike Nolan's aggressive, fundamentals oriented, zone-man attack style of opportunistic defense.

    8. How many completions will Vontae Davis and Sean Smith allow per day? I say somewhere between two and three total, per day, with twice as many interceptions. It's a good thing Chad Henne and Brandon Marshall only have to play these two in practice, it should make things seem a lot easier when they have to play games against another team's corners.

    9. Who is the future All Pro at Free Safety? The Dolphins have a number of potential game changers at the Free Safety position, and at this point it's just a matter of identifying which one has a legitimate shot at making a run at a Canton-worthy career. I look forward to seeing him blossom, whichever one it is.

    10. Will it be Koa Misi or Jared Odrick that looks worthy of DROY honors? The Dolphins are guaranteed to have a rookie make a serious run at Defensive Rookie of the Year, but will it be Jared Odrick or Koa Misi? Training camp should tell us a lot about which of the two will track into his future All Pro career more quickly.

The first two about Chad Henne and BMarsh nearly had me in tears.

I'm sufficiently nerdy not only to recognize the reference, but to realize that you may not realize you're referring to something different than what you intended.

There actually is a Super Gundam, it's a separate robot from the giant statue, and it's not very good.

But hey, obscure sci-fi references are better discussion fodder than Andy Cohen articles.

The next time Andy Cohen writes something poignant, will be the first. The guy has been awful since the Dolphin Digest days and the last thing I read prior to this made me literally walk around and kick babies.

I have always gotten the feeling that he has a tattoo of the Dolphins logo on his arm...that has a tattoo of the Dolphins logo on its fin. I guess I appreciate his brand of fandom and pandering to the small fanbase of ours that legally has to wear helmets, but honest to Jebus, I have shat out more relevant topics than he has written about.

Its actually a pretty solid list, one of the only other things i would have listed would be the questions at FS but good article regardless.

Close CK, lol, but they don't write about the Canton-bound Free Safety... the FS position is completely ignored. Yeah let's spend training camp focusing on our solid guaranteed starter pickup in Dansby rather than the mile-wide hole at FS.
