Man I wish he didn't have problems with durability. I want to see him as the complete back then and now.
I love his comment on Jonathon Stewart, who he ranked 20th - "Hed be a star on most other teams". Er....if hes only ranked 20th, theres 19 teams where he WOULDNT be a star.
Read the comments after the article. the author caught a lot of crap for having Ray Rice at #16. I agree rice is a lot better than #16. Also noted the one request about "no ricky williams?"
Ronnie will keep it together this season. Him and Marshall are both heading to the pro bowl together this year.
I wish we had Frank Gore on this team. Probably my favorite tailback out there, along with Clinton Portis.
Yes but not a biased opinion. I didn't watch Clinton Portis in college and Frank Gore was always injured so it didn't matter much. Became a fan of them in the NFL.
If this player stay's healthy he will be in the top 5 MVP voting..He's worth every bit of that ranking imo.
Ronnie, IMHO, is probably the best all-around back in the league... If he could only stay healthy. Better blocker than the Edge was, as good a receiver as Faulk (if they'd use him that way), good straight-line speed that I would compare to a younger Portis, can bruise like Turner and the best hop-cut in football. Not to mention the perfect fit for the Wildcat, able to run it to perfection. I'll go out on a limb and say if he stays healthy this season he'll reach 1500 yards rushing, 500 receiving and 15 TD's.
answer is the same as w/ true during his very early college years running in tandem spares Ronnie the crucible of an every down back when he can play fresh, he takes it to the field. the tandem is a must for Ronnie because of durability & style; good for Ricky because of age together w/ Polite running interference & pounding the HardYard they constitute an elite running game , maybe the best in the NFL everybody highly motivated, running behind the monster Orca-5 looks good to me for 2010, new running records on the horizon
