Golfing this afternoon in Sterling Va. Storm is coming through. We hear thunder and start heading back to the clubhouse. Within 30 seconds strong winds and hail are in full force. I start to see branches around me falling. As I'm heading toward a fairway to get away from the trees, a tree falls on my cart. I was lucky enough that the back of the cart took the brunt of the tree. I am alright, but half my clubs had their shafts snapped like twigs. Had the tree fallen 5 ft in a different direction I wouldn't be typing this!
Dude. Glad to know you lived to tell the tale bro. You're okay and that's what matters man. On a lighter note: Probably not the first time you've been in danger of having your shaft snapped like a twig.
Patience. We're working on making it a reality. Good to hear man. Those things make you look at life differently.
Glad you're ok Stringer. I've been hit dead on by a guy who didn't see me while making a left at about 70 kmph. Events like this put a lot of things in perspective.
Very glad you're ok and unharmed...... but in all honesty,String..... it looks like you needed some new clubs anyway..;p
midgets need golf clubs too... That storm killed two according to the local news reports out here in LOS ANGELES. No picture of the cart?
Good to hear you're ok man. No worse place to be when a storm rolls up than a golf course. I was driving on 495 when the wind/rain hit. Dust tornadoes and the like were running rampant for a few mins on the highway
