You just described a defensive dominating center.

He is easily stopped offensively. Which is to say that he is worthless as a offensive option.

The heat did it 4 times last year. Front the entry pass...foul him when he turns toward the basket since he is a terrible free throw shooter.

Anyway..he will play half the 1st quarter and sit for a while after Wade and Lebron attack the rim and get him to foul out.

Forgot about that as well huh?

    Keep dreaming.

and you might be the only guy on the planet that does not have Wade and lebron in the top 3.

This post makes me think you are joking. You have to be.

    **** Jermaine Oneal.

he couldn't do anything against ANYBODY we put in there.

You guard him one on one..deny the entry by fronting and he is irrelevant.

Try that with Shaq back in the day and he goes for 40.

there will be no 7th games. This is not Cleveland. he has FRIENDS.

I wish I could quit and get a triple double.

Did he quit in 2009 when he had the best playoff in NBA history?

it is going to be a painful 6 years for you.

Dwight never quit against Boston, not his fault only he, and Jameer showed up. Orlando sent out search parties to find Lewis, and Carter, because neither one showed up for the playoffs. :pity:

I can't wait until the games start, D12 will own Miami, they have no one that can cover him inside.

    won;t happen this year? LOL.

why? because you hate the Heat..and your hate will translate into Dwight Howard scoring 21 points?

    11.5 PPG last year.

Of course..JJ Redick will stop Wade from scoring 40 against the team he averages the most PPG against.

Oh and then there is Lebron James and Chris Bosh.

Look at his numbers. twice as bad as Lebron's against the same team (Boston).

You said that Lebron quit. So by your own admission..then Dwight Howard quit twice as bad.

If Paul can make Chandler relevant, Imagine what he will do with Howard.

Also, Howard is 24. Now, improvemants will be minimal, but I don't see why he can't get better as a FT shooter, or add a nice 12 foot jumper.

Something hovering around 20 i'd guess. You have to remember we also have crhis Bosh, who will probably be ebtter than the 3rd,4th and possibly 5th best player orlando will have combined.

It not JUST LeBron and Wade, the heat wouldnt be predicted to win 60+ games if that were the case, Bosh is an important part of this team.

They are the favorites this year. and yes..they will win championshipS it is a matter of how many. 2 will be a failure. 3 or more is a success.

Asking me to take a even money bet when they are 8-5 is an insult to me and anybody else with a brain.

i have already said I basically see the Heat as of today as slight favorites to win the East. I think they will be crushed by LA if LA is healthy come playoff time. Still, I dont think the difference is that huge between Orlando or Boston and Miami that I wouldnt consider taking the moneylines in those series should they occur. Now if Orlando gets Paul then depnding on what they give up, I could see them easily becoming the favorites over Miami

Uhm...in other news, The L.A. Lakers signed Theo Ratliff to a one year, veteran minimum contract and Matt Barnes to a two year, $3.6 Million contract.

This probably means Shannon Brown is a goner as is DJ Mbenga.

    PG: Derek Fisher, Steve Blake
    SG: Kobe Bryant, Sasha Vujacic
SF: Ron Artest, Matt Barnes, Devin Ebanks, Luke Walton
PF:Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Derrick Caracter
    C: Andrew Bynum, Theo Ratliff

The starting lineup remains the same, but the second unit is now much deeper with Steve Blake, Matt Barnes and Lamar Odom most likely the top three off the bench. Luke Walton's back is so bad right now that he may have to retire, whihc is why I have him behind rookie Trevor Ariza look-a-like, Devin Ebanks.

And don't sleep on Derrick Caracter. The kid has turned his life around and finished the Summer League third on the rookie ladder (behind John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins)The UTEP prospect closed summer league with averages of 15.4 points, 8.6 rebounds (sixth most in league), 1.8 assists and 1.4 blocks on 59.3 percent shooting (second among players averaging at least 13 points).

In other words, he did much better against iffy competition than I, or anyone else expected him to. I think the cat is going to be a very solid role player for the Lakers as early as halfway through this year.

    LOL.

    You hate money.

I will book every single one of those bets when the time comes.

I will give you the same odds and waive the vig.

Dude..your hate is really effecting your judgment.

Let's say that Paul goes to orlando and that he is handed to Orlando for NOTHING.

    WHO guards Dwyane Wade?

    WHO guards Lebrin James?

    WHO guards Chris Bosh?

    Answer those questions.

oh..do you even know who is on their roster? because I am not sure that you have watched a NBA game in the last 8 years.

Let's face it, Miami was Wade, and a whole lot of nothing last year. Orlando wasn't concerned with Miami, so obviously they weren't going to put forth their best effort, they didn't need too.

4-9 will be in the orlando ledger in all likelihood though. Miami will have the big three to Orlando's big 2 but whne you compare 4-9 I would assume Orlando would have the advantage though you would have to see who orlando gave up
