Now here's a debate I never thought I'd see. http://www.thephinsider.com/2010/7/19/1557418/afc-east-debate-dolphins-rbs-or Enjoy, -Cobrajet
When HEALTHY, we have the best 1-2 punch in the league, bar none. Hell, we have the best 1-2-3 punch in the league.
One player is a rookie, so until he actually gets it done at any time during an NFL game we win by default.
I couldn't agree with you more. This article is laughable, and I don't know how, but we have become the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL
Last time I checked what people think of you doesn't determine the outcome of football games. It's a dumb comparison anyway IMO.
I'm a big Spiller fan and I'm excited to see him play, but he hasn't done anything in the league yet so putting him up there with guys who have been very good would be an example of a rookie being over rated.
If Buffalo had any semblance of an Offensive line, then their RB's could do some damage (jury's out on CJ, but I think he'll be damn good). But, Buffalo's line stinks. The clear winner is Miami, we have a better all around ground game.
Agree Jupiter, it is not only our stable or RB's but our vastly superior OL that puts us over the Bills in this race. Add to that our Henne-to-Marshall combo will stop teams from stacking 8-9 in the box, which will also vastly improve our running game. Buffalo has no real QB and Lee Evans doesn't scare me at all.
I happened to be watching Spiller highlights yesterday, and he is scary good. I used to think he was just a burner but not anymore. He's shows tremendous balance and is so solidly built that he makes incredible cuts while at top speed. BTW- I was really impressed by Taylor Mays 40 time at the combine. He ran a 4.24, tying Chris Johnson's best 40 ever. Everyone was dissing his coverage ability but he just may make everyone eat their words. 41 inch vertical, 230 lbs...Picked #49 overall?
Not sure why you'd take anyone serious when they make that comment above about a guy who hasn't played a snap yet. Was he good in college? Sure. Does that guarantee he's going to do the same things in the NFL? Of course not
CJ Spiller will be a stud in Chan C's offense. Coach C, is a huge screen play guy and Spiller will be very hard for LB's to stop. But for now, our guys are the best in the league.
