I think this wont catch anyone by surprise, I hope we can attract a guy like Bernard Berrian or D.J. Hackett, then we could draft a guy like Jason Rivers in the later rounds....

I think Booker is probably more valuable than just a slot receiver, but we won't know for sure unless or until he gets away from Miami. He was absolutely more than that in Chicago, but that has been a few years back now.

No, the article said he is "likely" to get released. Therefore not a fact, but a general feeling. Therefore things can change if a new coaching staff and front office take over.

I think he is gone, but I think it is done in the way of a trade.

I'd like to see us get something for him, even if it's just a 5th round pick. At least that way we replace the pick we lost to Kansas City.

He knew it was his last year here. We are trying to implement a fast offense, and a declining possession receiver doesn't fit.

I'd like to see Booker head back to Chicago, he loved it there and would probably do well there as a slot guy. The free agent receivers aren't all that impressive, although Berrian is a legit deep threat guy and Moss is a sure bet to be resigned.
Bryant Johnson from the Cardinals is a solid free agent to take a look at for us.

The Bowman kid from Oklahoma St. might be a nice Burress-esque receiver to Ginn running sprints down the sideline, could be available for us sometime in the second.
