CLEVELAND actually did a Sign and Trade.

I went to the event last night with some friends...we all agree...that we just waived our collective genitals helicopter style at the rest of the country.

"What do you mean you got all three?"

    Yes.We.Did.

The rest of the country is mourning. Even the MSM, who should be covering actually important events (just a suggestion) is talking about how devastated the country is over this. "Poor Ohio, you're filled with such nice kind hearted..."

And here comes Miami with its collective fug you to the ENTIRE COUNTRY. Holy bleep. I don't know who's idea it was, but it was AWESOME!!!

Yes.We.Did. crush your city and the rest of the NBA.

We just did a WWF style opening strut with fireworks, pyro, smoke, confetti, and there were even chants of "Beat L.A.! Beat L.A.!" People think that the Cane Swag mysteriously appeared from dark impoverished corner of the country...it didn't. Tonight, we just showed the rest of the country that we are ALL like that. Yep, we'll jump up and down on the middle of your football field. Yep, we'll steal your cherished son, Ohio.

    Holy bleep it was epic.

Lebron, IMO, looks almost...introspective in the first 5 minutes. Like, "man it took a lot of sacrifice to get to this point." Then, he had a face of real peace, like "the pressure is totally off. I don't have to be the sole reason a whole city remains viable." I felt really happy for him. I don't think I've seen an athlete look happier than El Chris Bosh. He's El Chris Bosh now, I had no idea he spoke Spanish. He looked how someone should look after living in Canada for 7 years and then moving to Miami.

But Wade rules the show. There's no doubt he's the leader. And the other two dudes I feel are really happy just like that. He's absolutely De Niro to their Liotta and Pesci. Everyone has a role, and they'll complement each other very well.

The guy that made that is a Chi fan trying to make them look bad......I loved it.

When LeBatard throws in the random purple drank, double rainbows, it kills me.

Wade's making $101m, Bosh and LeBron are making $110m.

Looks like everyone took some money off the top, but Wade took more to keep Haslem.

It was insane. The "Run the point" night is too much!

YOU get to KEEP THE JERSEY!

you can also have garbage time night. The heat goes up by 60 to start the 4th quarter....5 lucky fans try to hold the lead....

There are a lot of people who don't follow basketball who'll buy his stuff simply due to the inevitable slate of Heat prime time games. Just like how people who didn't care about basketball followed Jordan religiously.

But even if LeBron doesn't get another endorsement deal in his life, Bucher is still delusional. Not as delusional as Bill Simmons, but still!

BTW guys...called the Heat..single game tickets for opening night will also include standing room tickets..so the number will go up from 500 to 850 available.

They told me to wait for when the schedule is released, and they will then release a date for ordering single game tickets and packages.

and yes...I was not joking and I will not renege. I am wearing a tuxedo to opening night.

So, what's the lineup looking like?

Wade is the SG, Bosh is the PF, and Joel Anthony is the C. Will James be the PG or SF?

Also, is there any intention of re-signing D. Wright?

PG LeBron James / Mario Chalmers
    SG Dwyane Wade
SF Mike Miller / Da'Sean Butler
PF Chris Bosh / Udonis Haslem / Jarvis Varnado
C Joel Anthony / Dexter Pittman

We've contacted Derek Fisher and Raja Bell is probably a serious consideration.

My best friend sent me this text last nite..This cat is a huge miami sports fan, love's the phin's, canes, Heat, Lebatard, he's cuban who literally came over from the boat..I think some fans might enjoy.

"Just saw my people celebrating.Saw Wade, Bron, and Bosh in Jersey's in front of the miami crowd, it hit me, i'am cryin, i'am so moved for my people, I love miami more than life, we deserve this.

I'am not sure, but I think i've fallin in love with Wade and the heat, I need to see the Phins on the field to remind me what's important, but at this moment, Wade, and Rile's and Lebron's humility to my town has moved me and I am cheating on the phins, hard. my heart has been stolen.

Dude, the city has gone totally ape sh#@, I'am so pissed I missed last nite, Riley sitting in the stands watching his boys, and nodding his head and smiling, Fu$kin$ awesome.

I expect it will end up looking something like this:

PG LeBron James / Mario Chalmers
SG Dwyane Wade / Raja Bell
SF Mike Miller / Dorell Wright or Quentin Richardson
PF Chris Bosh / Udonis Haslem / Jarvis Varnado
C Joel Anthony / Jamaal Magloire / Dexter Pittman

I'm guessing that Derek Fisher is just using us for leverage unless he's just pissed that they offered Blake more while asking him to take a pay cut. I'm guessing that despite Butler's optimism he won't be recovered enough to play this year. I could also see Varnado or Pittman not making the 12 if a guy like Ilgauskas decides to play for the minimum as has been rumored. I have no idea what Lebron's opinion of Ilgauskas is.

Where did you infer that we actively want him? We're talking about whether or not he's using the Heat as a ploy to get more money out of LA, not whether or not he fits on the team.

Fearing the Triple Crown doesn't mean you have to distort reality when reading this thread.

Hmm..I can recall one bagging on Fisher rather hard..

Thing with Fisher is, he still is a good court general...but imho they can do much better than him.

BTW..I'm STUNNED the Cavs took draft picks in the S&T for James, they are likely to be in the late 20's at best, imho they should have taken Beasely, whom the heat gave away to the TWolves

Who knows that they ever had that option?

And I'd rather have some late draft picks and a trade exception than nothing.
