Rose and Noah are a good duo, but I agree. It's overrated. Noah isn't even THAT good, it's all about playing with Rose.

LeBatard trying to make the point that a Wade/Bron/Bosh Heat is bad for the NBA. What? People love runs of dominance and people love to hate success. The NBA would thrive.

There's more to sporting leagues than New York, damnit.

If every New York team forfeited their games for a year, the NFL, NBA, and MLB would still survive and be just fine.

Wilbon accusing LeBatard of being a Miami homer in response to LeBatard pointing out that Wilbon is a Chicago homer. Sports media is just as biased as the mainstream media.

I equate Noah to a Haslem type. A nice player with a winning attitude and high energy that can be part of a championship team... but hardly irreplaceable.

And Rose is a 21 y/o talented PG. He has room for improvement in terms of running an offense and perimeter shot... but like we say about Beasley, Rose is only 21 and came out as a freshman as well. Hes shown a lot of promise so far...

But one young talented player and your basic role player is hardly some "amazing" core....

Haslem is actually effective and somewhat talented. Noah... well, he's still riding the reputation from his Florida/Billy Donovan days.

They've got Boozer too! You're forgetting about the success Cleveland had with LeBron and Boozer! Chicago can re-kindle that!

    :confused2:

Noah has better numbers pretty much across the board.

Thinking Haslem is effective and somewhat talented is fine, but not giving at least the same credit to Noah is a bit much.

Le Batard just got a text from a source that's "never been wrong".

Source says it's done. Lebron is coming.

Dan is skittish. "But this source has NEVER. BEEN. WRONG."

Why would Lebron want to play with Boozer? The same guy that took of on him and the Cavs? The same guy that could have helped Lebron deliver that elusive Championship to Akron?

You beat me to it, Muck. Maybe because my stream is delayed?

I would love it if LeBron announces in the tri-state area that he's going to Miami. The schadenfreude would be apocalyptic.

Yeah i was kidding dude. I know they would survive though MLB would take a serious hit as the Yankees alone account for over a quarter of the revenue brought in to MLB and in some years its closer to 1/3rd.

Noah > Haslem. I cant stand anything chicago but the guy was leading the league in rebounding before his injury last year while averaging around 10 points and a couple of blocks and a steal every night. His offensive game is just as loimited but hes a nice player to have. hes just not a player you leave one team for to go play next to.

Which means you definitely are not getting him since Broussard has never been right.

You had already made your post before I even loaded the forum list.

Prediction: New York descends into the type of chaos depicted in the video game Prototype. Cleveland is walled off and becomes a penal colony ala Escape from NY/LA.

    He sounds dead serious.

Riley will be the greatest personnel man in the history of Miami, that's for sure.

I don't know if he overtakes Shula, but he becomes a titan for sure.

If there was ever a time for a solid source to give out bad info, this would be it. I'm not believing anything until LeBron says it himself.

Even a broken clock is right at least 2 times a day. I wouldnt attach my hopes to anything that broussard says ever. Whether its pro Knicks or anti Knicks (which what it usually is from that bulls fan) he has changed his mind like 8x in the last week.

At the very least, Riley will make it impossible for Parcells to ever surpass him, and Ireland probably never will.

The more I listen to LeBatard, the more I think that he just cannot wait for LeBron to announce his intention to sign with Miami so that he can internally ruin ESPN by talking about it all the time.

I can totally see LeBatard on the phone with some ESPN types and saying "Hey, remember when you guys put on a television special so that LeBron could come to Miami?" The silence would be deafening. He'd probably record the call and play that on the air.

    ... This is surreal.

didnt i say that days ago? I know section did too....

I always said Wade was never leaving. Sorry to squash your hopes dude but I dont think Lebron's ego gonna let him play second fiddle to Wade and thats exactly what he will be because that will always be wade's team.

Truthfully at this point its either NY or cleveland imo for him. If he stays in cleveland then props for loyalty. If he leaves for NY, you know its because he wants the fame and to grow the lebron brand...

Dan says he's not fooling around anymore.

He's going to try and confirm this with two more sources and report it tomorrow in the Herald. "I trust this source too much."

Good ear Desides. He said he's hoping to ruin the ESPN special tomorrow.
