I can't wait to hear Simmons on LeBatard this week or next, where he'll undoubtedly be claiming the Heat need more than Wade/Bosh to win a Championship.

Gonna be great in the next few years when Brady retires, the Celtics Big 3 are done, and the Red Sox fall back into relative mediocrity. Can't.Effing.Wait.

Their nucleus is starting to disappear. They're playing well this year because of guys like Beltre stepping up, and their pitching is solid. However, the window is closing. They'll still be good for a few more years though. Hopefully not much longer than that.

Also, I've never had anything against Bulls fans growing up. I loved Michael Jordan. I idolized M.J. & Danny Boy as a child. [SAS] HOWEVAAAAAAAA [/SAS] since I started reading RealGM I've really began to hate them. I'm perma banned on that site for telling one of their mods to.... my..... yeah, and Google Earth mapping him and putting his location picture in my sig with a death threat for the lulz.

This couldn't be happening to a better fan base. Best case scenario: LeBron comes to Miami or re-signs with Cleveland, Jerry Sloan convinces the FO to re-sign Carlos Boozer, and David Lee ends up with New Jersey, Houston, Sac, Minnesota. I want them to strike out completely, and I want to see Carmelo and the other top notch free agents in 2011 extend their contracts.

Cities all along western Indiana began efforts early Wednesday morning to build dams all along the border with the purpose of keeping Chicago Bulls fan tears from flooding their great state as well as harnessing the hydroelectric energy to power each respective grid for the next 3 fiscal years.

 

They had their decade of glory, now they can go suck for the next 1000 years and i wont shed a tear.

Woj just kills LeBron. Absolutely kills him in this column. Calls him out as a diva attention whore on every level. Just a completely vicious takedown, and I agree with every word of it. He even takes time to nuclear bomb ESPN and its facillitation of this foolishness calling it simply "the network."



And he also says LBJ choosing between Cleveland and Miami. So I will be tuned in.

 

My personal hope before FA started (it's somewhere in this thread) was that the Bulls would strike out...completely. It still may come to fruition. That entire city is in denial about their sports teams. It starts with the Cubs and Bears, and ends with the Bulls. How ironic that the two Championships that city has won in the last 10 years are the two (White Sox, Blackhawks) that they give a **** the least about.

They can keep banging the "Miami sucks, they have no good fans there, no one wants to play there" drum all they like, just like other cities do. It's hilarious.

 

I don't understand how you can hate on what LeBron is doing if you're a fan of the NBA. This is going to possibly be the biggest offseason moment in NBA history. Would people rather everyone just ignore the NBA and watch MLB?

You mentioned a week or more ago that you knew about ticket sales plans, and you didn't hop on then? Man... that's a dark lining for the silver cloud of today.

Speaking of dark linings, Woj's article bashing LeBron implies that his camp leaked the Wade/Bosh combo to ESPN to clear the field for LeBron on Thursday. Makes total sense.

 

You can hate it because LeBron is more focused on the bolded part than making the biggest actual basketball moment in history. He is the self-proclaimed "King" and wants to be the Greatest of All Time - but everything he has done has handicapped his home town team and now he is holding 3-4 teams hostage.

I want to see great rivalries in the NBA. I want to see Wade and Kobe and Bron battle in the playoffs and may the best man win. I don't want to see teams purposely tank for cap room and a superstar keep signing 3 year deals and hinting about FA so that he can have an hour long special on ESPN.

 

I heard a great rumor over the weekend that Heat ticket sales people were told they would only be making 3% on commisions this week instead of the normal 10%.
