Like Section, I'm confident in Wade/Bosh.... Don't see LeBron coming here.... definitely see the remaining $12 million being split between with multiple players (likely two), i.e. Brendan Haywood, Mike Miller, Josh Howard, Ray Allen, Ray Felton, Jermaine O'Neal, Udonis Haslem, Kyle Korver, Tony Allen.

Tons of minimum options out there that CAN PLAY.... Keyon Dooling, Raja Bell, Eddie House, Ben Wallace, Carlos Arroyo, Earl Watson, Roger Mason, Kurt Thomas.... maybe Dorell Wright, Quentin Richardson.

Getting Wade & Bosh in the loop with $12 million left to play with would make for a very easy building of the roster.

    He is not.

I don;t think I need to post the contracts side by side and then score them with state taxes.

We are talking about leaving 40 million dollars on the table for Wade to go to Chicago.

    So.....no.

That is what they said when Riley gutted the roster to bring in SHAQ.

then they won 59 games, got the #1 seed, and lost in 7 to DET. in the ECF.

They are not going to play by themselves. heat has a ton of cap space...they will get plenty of friends. Good ones.

Besides, I don't think Riley trades beasley. The trade exception is very valuable. The lotto pick could be a top 5 pick.

All Chicago needs is Bosh and Wade or Bosh and LeBron, they already have a good nucleus of talent. Honestly if Wade wants to win more titles he should get with Bosh and sign in Chicago. I don't think theres any way LeBron, Wade and Bosh wind up together, its a nice fantasy but I can't see it happening especially since Bosh seems like he wants to do a S/T.

    Quite honestly,

    Wade/LBJ/Bosh = Speechless
    Wade/Bosh = Thrilled
Wade/Amare = Fine (very unlikely now)
    Wade/Boozer = DO NOT CARE
    Wade/Lee = DO NOT CARE
Wade Solo = DO NOT CARE

That is truly how I feel. If we can't make a deal with Toronto for Bosh (he's clearly going that direction and that direction only) then I really, really don't give a damn what Dwyane Wade decides to do. Although it'd pain me to see him play elsewhere much less win elsewhere, I also don't want to see the poor guy rot. I'll just try my hardest to either fall in love with Michael Beasley (HA!) or stop watching basketball.

That era before Caron Butler was outrageously ugly. I don't ever want to experience that again. There was literally no hope. I am a true fan but I won't bring myself down to depression following such garbage, so instead of hopping a bandwagon I'd just fall back altogether.

You just say that nonchalantly without mentioning HOW MUCH$$$$

    Here is a Hint.

    Calculator time.

29 million in cap space. let's be generous and make it 30.

That translates to 10 mil a year for each...losing the 6th year, and taking a 6.6 million paycut on average and averaging in the 10% increase they would have to give up by leaving their teams....

you are talking about a contract that would total around 61 million.

So the MAX in Miami for Bosh and Wade is 126 million (nice number)..Lebrons is also 126 in Cleveland...

SO these three players would leave around $195 Million Dollars on the table.

    LOL.

and I have not added the State taxes in yet.

One question....Do you work for ESPN?

OH..one more thing...that scenario would force a team (Chicago) that has never paid the luxury tax to pay upwards of around 60 million dollars in TAX in the 3rd year of that happening when they extend Noah and Rose.

Forget about LBJ/Wade/Bosh in Chicago. That CANNOT and WILL NOT happen under ANY circumstances.

If those three play together for a full season, which THEY WON'T, it'll be in Miami.... they'll likely play together in the All Star game though as they should all remain in the East barring any drastic late entry into the sweepstakes (LAC is a joke).

If Wade leaves I won't become a fan, but I'd definitely become a full time Lakers supporter.... until the young Thunder emerge. I don't want to see him win a title with another team's uniform under any circumstances.

That nucleus of talent got beat by Miami with Wade scoring less than 15 points by damn near 156 points in Chicago when both teams were vying for the 5th seed.

You overestimate their talent. Their front office is garbage as well.

You want to win, you come here under Riley.

So why isn't everyone trying to play for the Heat? We've seen it with the Dolphins as well, the no state taxes doesn't mean everyone will sign there. Would be nice if that were the case.

dude no I dont, nor do I care what people/sources or whatever u know either bro. If you are a bonifide reporter Section, I apoligize, and stand corrected...

I am just saying I am going upon what I am hearing and seeing from the people involved themselves.......I get ur number crunch game, and I always think about the business aspect, go look up my numerous thread saying it isnt worth having so and so cost he costs too, much......but is it all about the money bro?? these guys are all set finicially, even if they never play another game....the bottom line, is if they all give up a little, they could all (and I agree with everybody that it probably wont happen, and it is probably a fanatsy ok) play on the same team, that already has a star PG on it, they would all be better off on the Bulls than the Heat......and could win more titles....plus there would be ridiculous endorsements with these 3 together to make up most of the difference....

that coupled with these freaking guys are hanging out together, openly calling for the "last piece" to come join them......pretty much as they are making decisions on who they are playing for.....together...

I agree that theres no way LeBron/Wade and Bosh sign in Chicago thats just idiotic reporting no player is going to leave that kind of cash on the table and Chicago really just can't afford it. Even with those 3 guys it would dip so much into their profits its not worth it. Chicago might be able to wing Bosh/Wade or Lebron by himself though.

I think Wade is staying but I'm just trying to think of the dark side in case.....

Would any of you have an ounce of respect left for Dwyane Wade if he leaves Miami for Chicago after all of that "loyalty" BS?

I'd say his ex-wife was right and he can rot in hell for all I care.... that STD should help the process.

Just a mere 6 more days to go until a FA can sign anywhere in the NBA.

By Monday, Bron will be in Toronto and Wade will sign with the Clippers.

ESPN's so called "experts" are slinging crap on the wall just hoping something, anything will stick, that way they can claim it later on..

BTW, Ric Bucher annoys the hell out of me, I just do not care for that man's views..whatsoever.

Wade has said numerous times during this that, the Heat are class, all really glowing things about Miami, I would be pretty shocked if he left....they are talking fanatsy, the one and only times in the lives they can, they probably are just doing it to cause a stir amonsgt the media, cuz they can u know?

We are talking about Athletes right? leaving Tens and tens of Millions of dollars on the table...right?

That is why Riley is better than all of these clowns. While morons like John Paxson were paying something called "James Johnson" 3 million dollars....Riley was clearing out EVERYTHING to not HAVE to ask ANYBODY to take a paycut.

I mean, taking a hair under the max is one thing. Taking 30% less?!? Thats significant...

-Wade came back for a second meeting because he had some questions before commiting

    - Wanted to know what the Bulls plan on doing

    - Do they have any trades in the works

Not sure if that was posted before or not, but it seems like Wade is doing a little snoopage..

    Too kind FY.

For these Mercedes FA's to wind up at the same place would require a huge committment to that idea that not a single one has offered as of yet, and more than likely never will.

Artest took less money to sign in LA, Jason Taylor took less to sign in Miami in 09, but those are exceptions to the rule, and in the NBA the original team has more cash to throw at their own FA's.

The Knicks were telling Bron that he would top 1 Billion dollars in income if he signed in NYC...1 Billion dollars in 5yrs...250 million dollars is nearly impossible to deplete, 4x that amount in NYC?

Screw all that happy slappy stuff, that is a mountain of cash for 5yrs labor, Bron would be 30 when the contract expired, why wouldn't he pull the trigger on that deal when he has 1 more MAX contract in his future?

More money than just the contract Sect, one has yet to really grasp that , for example James would make 3 bucks for every pair of "LJ Shoes' sold, where would he sell more of them?

Miami, Cleveland, NYC or China if he wins a title? 300 million Chinese play B-Ball..

As wade said, he saw both sides with Riles, a NBA title and a 15 win season.
