Could the Bills stop anyone running the ball? It may have contributed to them looking better against the pass.
Wait a minute, Kerry Rhodes did absolutely nothing last for the Jets and he is the difference to them being #1 and #2??
Sorry bud, PFF is kinda bogus. Is Malcolm Floyd the 7th best WR in the league? Is Peyton Manning the 6th best QB in the league? Rhodes was terrible.
Jets #2, Bills #5 "worse fanbase" in NFL Sorry,I thought this was the title at first. Now back to our program. Anyway, like any so called write up or prediction,it remains to be seen until they put it on the field.See you there. EDIT: No smack intended, just having fun....and a beer.
Not really too much. You see, when you are so poor against the run, this allows defenses to extend drives and therefore have more plays. The Bills defense was on the field for more plays than any other team in the NFL last year. Nobody runs every time. The Bills ranked in the top five in every important pass-defense category. 2nd in interceptions, 2nd in TDs allowed, third in completion percentage allowed, 2nd in yards allowed. All this without McKelvin, who has the potential to be a star. Our other stater, McGee, was hurt for about 5 games. Byrd was hurt quite a bit so had to see limited playing time. Other injuries, too...we are prepared for those in the secondary anywhere. The Bills' depth at secondary is absolutely incredible. A dozen teams were passed on more than the Bills. The team that was passed on the least only had 85 fewer passing attempts against them than the Bills last year. The Dolphins were third last in passing attempts against them. Besides all that, when you have a bad pass rush, what the Bills secondary did last year was all the more impressive. Also, being out on the field for so long and yet still excelling is something else to consider. If the Bills create the right front-7 in the 3-4 scheme, this could be a dangerous defense to face. It would also help out the secondary, which you can't deny is good. Finally, teams would have passed on us more if our secondary wasn't so good...so it works both ways.
