I find it more likely you'll be looking at this top 5: 1. Wall 2. Turner 3. Wes 4. Favors 5. DMC Also if youre going to move Al, I find it hard to believe you will get appropriate value off a down year after a serious injury and with 4 years/more then 11M per. I find that hard to believe as Chandler is a damn good player and flat out better then Rudy. Rudy also is coming off a season where he shot below 38%. Anyone offering more then Chandler and you guys havent pounced on it...I find it hard to believe.
Also, just found this:The Thunder are holding serious talks with the Pacers to trade Eric Maynor, in addition to the 18th and 21st picks for the 10th overall selection. Read more: http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wi...talks_on_maynor_10th_pick_deal/#ixzz0rjFWLTK7
For some reason teams were down on him last year pre draft and I cant figure out why. He doesnt blow you away with measureables but his tenacity and leadership are top notch. He can definitely be a starting PG. I think the pacers sudden interests also has a lot to do with being rebuffed for collison and Ty Lawson
According to a chart ESPN just showed the Heat have 43M, NYK 35M, and NJ have 27M in cap space. Those are the top cap space teams and its including todays trade...
And we're not done clearing space yet. At least not done trying. We have two players on the roster though. THAT IS AWESOME!!!! There's no way Riley gambles like this unless he has a "pretty good feeling" on what either will happen, or is already set in stone. It's too much of a risk.
Dude, I cant ever remember being so hyped up about a particular non game as I am about 7/1! I mean, you guys still have the most cap room but damn both our teams are gonna get better....
This is what *I* want. Buck the Fulls. I want to see another Miami/New York rivalry. Say, Wade/Bosh/JJ vs. LeBron/Boozer/Gallo/Chandler. Doubt it though. I still see LeBron in Cleveland or Chicago.
Because he played at VCU, in the Colonial Athletic Association, and nobody likes to give any respect to us as a mid-major conference.
totally agree on bucking the fulls as I still hate them more then the heat. But its gonna be so much better when its wade/amare/JJ vs Gallo/Bosh/Lebron
Speaking of them.. - Vince for Gilbert Arenas being discussed - Denver and GS (who is in full fire sale mode) discussing K-Mart for Biendrins + Gadzuric. Wish I had more then a Twitter source for those two but take it for its worth as its been a pretty decent source in the past.
Yea, I was kidding, lol. Still, as long as you have a big man like Dwight, anything is possible, right?
Nice, you're providing a lot of updates. Thanks for that. Hate that trade idea. I don't like Vince Carter, but I don't want that contract. I liked the Chris Paul Idea better, lol.
Im following this non-stop on my phone and on my computer...its pretty much a sickness at this point. Ive had teams that I knew would get better via the draft before but never via free agency and never possibly involving one of the three best players in the league. Plus the Knicks have been putrid for so long, it kinda feels like christmas is coming and you know there will be something good under the tree...the question is if its going to be a home run with Le/Bosh or if Donnie is just going to hit a single with like a Joe Johnson. So the updates are just happening while im scouring for anything Knicks related...
Hey, as long as you bring rumors for us Magic/Heat fans, I'm happy. I'm hoping the next rumor you hear about Orlando will involve Chris Paul.
Rumor: Chris Paul was overheard saying he "hates" Orlando and will never take his kids to Disney World due to a traumatic childhood incident involving Goofy and an ice cream cone.
Yayyyyyy no more Sammy Dummybert in Philly. Now maybe they can move Brand or Igoudala and bring in Evan Turner. Hawes and Nocioni are decent. I like the moves they have made.
There's no way anyone is taking Brand's contract right now as its one of the five worst in the league. And if by some miracle you do move the contract your going to give up a good player/pick with it. While he is semi-productive at times he has no explosion left after his injuries. Its unfortunate because he and Grant Hill are the only Duke players I like and both had great careers robbed of them...bottom line, for the sake of Duke players everywhere I should continue to drink the haterade.
Yeah Dukie players always seem to have crazy injuries or other things that ruin them in the NBA. I still don't know why the Sixers had to give Brand that much money. There are all kinds of crazy trade rumors on the Sixer's boards and most involve packaging up the 2nd overall pick with Iggy or Brand. Should be an interesting 24 hours.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2010/news/story?id=5324240 Chicago makes their move, Hinrich to Wizards (someone please fill me in on how this makes any sense for Washington)
I posted the link in the Heat thread as well. I never considered Chicago that serious a threat, but now they are. Adding two maxes to a decent core of Rose/Noah (I don't even count Deng who I think sucks) is a strong hand to play
@johnhollinger OKC swallowed $2 million to get the 18th pick. Wash swallowed $17 million to get 17th pick. Quick quiz: Which team is run better?
Trying to give Wizards something... Wizards found some way to trade Arenas that will include Chicago's draft pick...and something else. Pick Wall, get Hinrich to play along side him as he did with Chicago's young stud Rose. A player that doesn't dominate the ball like Areanas...or pull a gun on him.
Just found this nugget on rotoworld: The Pacers are reportedly in talks with New Jersey about a deal that would move Danny Granger and the No. 10 pick to the Nets for the No. 3 pick, Yi Jianlian and Devin Harris. The Nets don't sound thrilled about the idea, but it's possible something could be worked out. The Nets would get a true all-star and the Pacers would get their point guard, albeit both players would bring injury concerns, as well. Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter Related: Devin Harris Also looks like Nets will go with Favors. Eddy Curry got arrested. Stupid punk. Get yourself traded then get arrested once youre out of NY where no one likes you.
My guess is that you could see either Cousins, Favors or Wes go there in that order. Cousins to me is a wildcard. He could be a Zach Randolph without an attitude if he chooses or he could be a Benoit Benjamin/Eddy Curry type bum. I question his maturity, commitment to defense and work ethic but his talent is undeniable.
