Casa Juancho goes all out for anytime the Spanish Selection plays... At the Intercontinental in Doral..Brazilians take it over. They have a great atmosphere there. Las Culebrinas in Hialeah has a great atmosphere to watch Espana. and every single Argentinian steakhouse down here is jumping come world cup time.
Of course..the best soccer bar in all of miami is a little pricey. The Pub at Pembroke Pines. But be ready to spend..(well..if you drink beer like I drink beer) They have the finest beer selection on the planet. NOT HYPERBOLE. (They have over 90 beers to choose from) a Pint of Newcastle Brown Ale (what I drink) poured is $5.50 they have great food as well.
I'm sorry, but the Delirium Cafe in Brussels, Belgium has the Guinness World Record for most types of beers served. They guarantee to have over 2,004 different types of beers in stock at all times... and have over 2,500 different types on their menu. My brother and I made a rule of no beer under 10%. Ever had a real Belgium waffle after getting hammered on 10+% beer? I swear its the best tasting thing on earth... The bar is ****ing awesome. Their "menu" is a book that is 4 inches thick. Its like Heaven... but in Europe...
I would like to test that claim. it is damn near impossible to stock that many beers. I owned restaurants buddy. 2,000 beers? that is crazy. BTW..The Pub at Pines has over 40 on tap.
Delirium is a great Belgian beer. There's a european bar called PRL in downtown Hollywood which serves Delirium for a reasonable price (expensive) and everytime I'm near the place, I just have to taste it again.
They have the seal and everything, lol. Its legit. I'd like to try to test it... but I'd die trying, lol. My brother and I randomly picked beers throughout the book, and never found one (that I remember, lol) that they didnt have... I dont know how they do it... but it aint a hoax, lol...
Yep... its real good. This place World of Beers has it over here in Tampa. Gotta order it whenever I see it since its pretty rare for a bar to have...
Oh, and I wasnt trying to hate on your pub Sec... Delirium was just one of the most amazing experiences of my life... and I'm sure you could understand why, lol. I feel compelled to share the story whenever an opportunity presents itself... lol!
The reason I say that is that there are some beers from certain countries that do NOT export. it is interesting if they did pull it off.
Well, they did. Dont know how, but they did... lol. I guess if there is a beer from a country that does not export, they wont be able to get that one, lol... Heres a link talking about it... http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delirium-cafe-2400-beer Heres a pic of the seal... If you are in Europe... you HAVE to go here. Its kinda small, dark, and smokey... but has all the beer you could ever want, lol.
I actually sat at the barrel (table) kinda behind the piller... to the left of the hunched over guy. (How I remember that, I have no idea, lol) You know what was the most appalling thing I saw? There were people sitting at the bar... drinking... Corona! REALLY?!?!? Your going to drink a freaking Corona there?!? lol I mean, I guess its an import over there... but COME ON!!!! lol
Sure, but as bad as the NBA is....the fake flopping in "soccer" (no wonder it sounds like Sock HER) this is worse....guys "using term loosely" are tripping over blades of grass/air, but then come up holding their ear claiming thats where they were fouled, its a joke. Well, Soccer/Football will never break/shed the WUSSIE-factor (the rest of the world can have it; its equates to them far more than Americanism if thats what they want)...America will continue to pass on it; especially with this acting and whiney-*** antics. So, any country (including our cousins that we *****-slapped centuries ago - its yours, enjoy ) that wants to cling to that garbage and think its passes the smell test for a real sport, go for it....but its sad and embarrassing to what real men play.
Hate to break it to Bigdog..but MLS is drawing....and drawing.....it is growing...and soccer in the US too. Have you seen the atmosphere at Seattle Sounders games?
That is such a hard call for the Linesman to make. Unless you've been a linesman in a higher level, (not high school or below), people will never understand. There's been a few bad calls, but overall, the officials have done a pretty god job, IMO. I'm glad that FIFA has instructed the officials to let them play, but also when a player F-up's, nail his arse.
SOCK-HER needs to overcome this taint that is being discussed bigtime during these WC games and lose the wussie-factor once and for all; these WC games (far more than MLS games) are doing more harm than good for any drawing MLS may be doing in segments or given populations. Certain segments may be helping, but this cant be good for the image overall - its just cant. (Plus I really just want to be bust on Simon for the fun of it....and all the others that want more respect for this SOCK-HER thing.....just having fun)
Dude...when the Sounders played Chelsea..that place was insane...and when in the second minute..they almost had a goal on a counter that place erupted. of course..Chelsea won 2-0, but that was an experience and I was just watching it on TV. BTW...there is a rumor that Manchester United will appear in the US this year. (maybe the MLS all-star game?)
i don't know about that rumor..i know that manchester city are in portland playing vs the timbers next week i think, but only season ticket holders get tickets
Yeah, I think MU is coming to Baltimore or Philly on July 25th. Around then. But I'm almost positive that they're coming. I love these tours that the European clubs do in the US. I got to see Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, Roma, Manchester United, and Madrid in the past 6 years. It's great. In 2004, Italy even had their Supercup in Giants stadium. Juve vs. Milan after they played in CL final against each other a few months earlier. It was awesome. An actual meaningful game in the US.
Portugee is like Spanish Lucky, only it requires women with huge posteriors to translate it for foreigners..
There's a Flanigan's on Bird Rd. and I think Shorty's BBQ as well. I forgot where Tobacco Road is down there. 90 beers is quite a selection- I was at a place in Dallas/Ft. Worth with a killer beer menu: http://www.oldmonkdallas.com/ [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RspvQtRzybE&feature=related"]YouTube- Matt Darey pres. It's difficult for me to watch those MLS games that are played on a smaller than normal field. Certainly, the overall quality has improved over the years. And one of these days I'll make it down to Carson to see the best soccer stadium in the US... but until then I'll moan about the rest of the stadiums that don't have full size fields.
Not true anymore. There are only two teams that do not play on a FIFA recommended dimension field. DC United and Houston. And both are getting new fields within the next 2 years. BTW..DC United's field is off by 3 feet wide. Houston's...IDK. BTW, In the Premiership...all the fields range in sizes. They are not uniform.
The Home Depot Center is a great soccer stadium. But the best soccer stadium in America is Qwest Field in Seattle. The Field meets FIFA requirements (it has hosted Gold Cup matches).
Either the world's most popular sport or some minority sports where guys dress up in fancy dress padding?? Hmmm. As for countries the US ***** slapped, I take it Vietnam and the US never face off?
LOl! Football doesn't need America my man. You guys want to join the party, that's fine. But we've been doing pretty well without y'all.
