Equal time, Greg C isn't a scrub, but he does have flaws, thinking like a GM/HC and imho it is clear that you really shouldn't have 2 Wr's who do the same job when you need "chunk yardage".

And James Pruitt was a Wr in the 80's who had a 40 inch vertical leap but butter covered hands, he was Derek Hagen before there was a Derek Hagen.

Speaking of which, Hagen got a reprieve when Dominik Hixon tore his ACL on the very first practice play in the "new' Giants/Jets stadium.

Welker's skill isn't just his good hands.

And Welker didn't develop into what he became until he was given plenty of opportunity....plenty of fans thought he wasn't worth bothering with either.

Exactly.... and at the end of TC, that long list of TC darlings will be on the waiver wire and the #83 jersey will still have "Camirillo" on the back of it.. and for good reason.

As I've said before...... you want to find more players that are "money".....not get rid of them.

Chris Mortensen was on Lebetard's show today:

    http://www.790theticket.com/lebatard.aspx

"Terrell Owens is still available, what can you get him for?"

-"TO wants 5 million dollars a year and he should probably get it"

"Yes or no question, TO does he make Miami better?"

-"I was wrong about Brandon Marshall"

-"The view around the league about TO is he sweeps up guys at the bottom of the roster because he is perceived as a Celebrity, and some core guys, then when there is a real football issue the OC and Qb have to deal with TO's demands to see "X" number of passes"

-Dolphins would need a new Qb (that I disagree with Henne is a humorless Griese like Qb, TO's screaming would be met with a yawn, Henne is a tough old school Qb)

    -"Dolphins could use him"

-"Can you put clauses in a contract that allows you to waive a player if they say anything about the Quarterback or Organization that is negative"

-"yes, there are some clauses that can allow the club to take back some of the signing bonus"

I don't understand what is meant by this,Padre.

This I understand and have felt it should be in all troublemakers contracts(whether they like it or not) I don't know if they do,but it should absolutely be a clause if character is a question.

Well, from what I gathered, TO shows up, he is quite affable, the "nobodies" on the roster like him due to his personality and celebrity, they hang out with him and live the life so to speak, some Vets join in as TO is a 'good guy" then when he blows up because he is not seeing enough passes the locker room is split, those who like TO, those who have bought into the Regime.

BTW, does the link to the Lebetard show not work?

But i think to Parcells, the negatives out way his play on the field and he also knows that TO is not going to be in for the long run with the Dolphins. So why bring in a stop gap to a position that is only looking up for this team?
