Dexter

It's been very good so far. A little different from past seasons, but that isnt a bad thing.

 

I was concerned at first about Smits playing a Cuban, but he has impressed me. He's obviously done a lot of research and has the character down pat.

I am concerned about the direction of the show this season, though.

Dexter's close involvement with Miguel can only lead to two possible outcomes, and neither is palatable.

But the writers have managed to wind their way through sticky problems before, and without compromising the integrity of the character or the base premise, so I'll sit back and enjoy.

 

Who ever thought that a show about a serial killer would take off as it has ?

The best show in TV IMO .

Its very rich and layered IMO as someone has already mentioned .The tension that was created by Doakes unmasking Dexter has been replaced by the danger that his new friend Miguel will unmask him because he knows what he is.

Miguel has already tried to manipulate Dexter to kill a competing attorney .I am guessing Dexter will end up offing Miguel too

Clever writing.

I honestly was ready to give up on this season after the first few eps. I didn't like the direction the show was going in, replacing awesome Doakes with Doakes extra lite Miguel.

But the 180 with Miguel has this becoming a really great ****ing season.

It's funny too, last year fans were hoping Dex and Doakes would become a tag team (they were in denial about Doakes' soon to be death).

Two eps left, and Dexter is on the the other end of his extracurricular activities.

The only thing I hate is that they killed Brian/Rudy in S1 (unlike the book, which Dex lets him go). Would be nice to see him again.... Maybe visiting Miguel.

 

I'm behind on the episodes but hope to catch up soon.

 

Last episode was great, looking forward to the last few episodes this season is turning out great.

 

Let me be the first to predict that it was not the skinner that bagged up Dex and threw him into the trunk. I'm thinking it was the company that Masuka hired and they are surprising Dex for his bachelor's party.

Pretty good.

 

Last episode was really good. One of the better episode of the entire series imo.

On a side note, it's amazing how many shows claim to take place in Miami while actually being filmed in Long Beach. Give my city some credit lol. I guess CSI Long Beach doesnt have the same ring to it.

I wasn't expecting Dex to do Miguel in this episode. I thought that would come next week, but then I realized its the 2nd to last episode for the season.

Next week looks interesting!

 

excellent episode...one of the best of the season. love this show, sad its almost over.

 

Man it sucks that Dexter has short seasons. I was just gettin into the season. But it was a great episode. Probably my favorite show now since the shield is over.

 

Great show, the last few episodes have been some of the best in the entire series. 12 episodes does seem short, but the writing and cast have been great, that might not be the case if they stretched everything out.

 

Great season, can't wait for the return next year, the season's are too short.

Easily the best show I have ever seen. Just started watching it and I'm blown away how well put together it is.

 

season 1 of dexter is as good as television gets.

 

Seasons one was indeed gold, one of the best I have ever seen.... Season 2 was not as good IMO. The show I am hooked on at the moment is The Wire. Might be the best tv show I have ever seen, I am on season 4 right now and it hasnt gotten stale at all.

We had a pretty huge Dexter thread in the lounge awhile back. It is far and away the best show on TV.

 

Yeah I just watched the first two episodes today. I've also seen episode 9 because that's the one my mom was on. My brother introduced me to the show.

I want to get them all now. Pokemon obviously not related.

i just started watching dexter, i bought season 1 dvd and watch the first 3 real quick... im thinking the ice killer is himself, but dont ruin it for me, still got 9 left to watch, then if i like it ill buy season 2 and 3...

btw i love Criminal Minds! great show!

 

Great show, really good books too even though they are a lot different than the series. Can't wait for season 4, everyone I've gotten to watch the show gets addicted to it.

 

Yup - one of my favorite shows - looking forward to season 4 starting in september.
