He's facing a 4 game suspension for violating the leagues substance abuse policy. The next strike means he's gone for a year IIRC. No thanks, especially for a middling backup player at best.
The people who I have spoken to here in Nashville, who have claimed to have met Lendale, all say the same thing: He thinks he's some kind of gangster, and is an arrogant jerk. It's a real surprise to me that a former college coach would cut a player so quickly, but if the rumors about him are true, Carroll cutting him after only a month-or-so, would be no shock to me at all. I guess he's just another physically talented player with rocks between his ears. Lots of good men would give their right arm for the opportunities he's been given, and he's just pissing it all away. What an incredible moron... but, he's just one more in a long list of them. I don't want him anywhere near the Dolphins... unless we're playing Cincinnati.
