I should clarify the return man not need be in the mid 90's but his speed, acc, juke, ret should all be up there. I don't care if he can't find his way out of a paper sack anywhere else on the field other than as a return man. A very young, very talented Viking secondary has improved today. Meanwhile, the Vikings retain three 1st round and two 2nd round picks in this year's draft. The Falcons, meanwhile, have put themselves back into the 1st and 2nd rounds while adding Calvin Johnson in the last 24 hours. Some great GM-ing will be happening all across the league between now and Draft Day!
Talk about Rice not suiting up for me. Damn Josh Wilson didn't even get off the plane to Atlanta before he was shipped out. I'm guessing the Falcons aren't going to have a defensive backfield next year lol

FYI as we approach draft planning and figuring out what your rosters need for next year, here's an important thing about progression: Your players' progression depends on how they compare to other players stats at the same position in this league. So unless you'ce been keeping up with Stafford's record-setting 66TDs and Ernie Sims LB's 47 sacks I wouldn;t expect to see maximal progression for your dudes. Instead of an 8-10 point jump, maybe you go up half that or less, I don;t know. We'll see. It kinda bugs me that Madden does it this way, though it makes sense too. If someone's dominant in the stats, they should progress to reflect it. I guess that's fair. It just bites for those of us who are less skilled. (yeah, like me.) Anyways, GM's, don't assume your players will progress like in offline franchise, guys. You may actually need to make a trade for a guy who is already high rated, or get a high draft pick to fill your holes rather than assuming your 75 LB will jump 8-10 points. That said, Madden progression is crazy and random sometimes anyways.
Actually, that brings me to another point.. how can we convince guys who are getting their brains beat in by the tiop tier guys here to not quit? Mor and some others (ASU, etc.) have left and it's disappointing. Not sure what to do to help keep guys with losing records wanting to come back. It shouldn't become a top-heavy league.
Yes, most of this is just because I have nothing else to focus on since I missed the playoffs by a mile, so now I'm whining. :P And in the TRADE thread of all places. Seriously though, it's been a great fun season. Thanks to all of you. I even enjoyed playing and losing to you guys. I even like my nemesis Alex (stop beating me!!). Laters all.
