So is anyone heading up to this game? I think I'm going to go up with a buddy of mine from high school who's a Vikings fan. I figured Samphin would go because I heard he's a huge fan of Minnesota, but I could be wrong. But just wondering if any other Dolphins fans would be there?
I actually thought that wouldnt be a bad place to visit, heard downtown is real nice and the women are pretty hot.
Yeah it sounds like three of my friends and I are gonna head up there. 3/4 of us are Dolphins fans... thankfully.
I had considered it, but then I discovered that the Twins had an early start that day plus some other kind of big event. Apparently it will take about six hours just to get out of the stadium, so no, I will not be taking an additional day off just to go.
I'm closer to GB than Minn and want to go to the GB game... but it's really hard to get tickets, crazy Wacker fans. The alternative would be the Viking game, will have to see how it plays out.
I've been to Lambeau once, for the intersquad scrimmage game before preseason in 94 or 95... I was too young to fully appreciate it, and I was already a passionate Miami fan back then anyway lol. Sitting on metal benches sucked.
I'll be there. I fly to a different stadium every year. Staying at the Aloft 1 block from the game. Sitting 40yrd line lower level row 7. Already have it all booked. I'll be at the preseason game in dallas and the thursday night primetime game in november. Not sure I can afford any more trips unless we go to the playoffs.
I'll be there, but I'm not really sure about tickets. I've only seen the Phins once, but I didn't have to purchase the tickets. Do most people go through ticketmaster?
Check out the hotel I'm staying at. Very trendy place for a good price and the closest to the game as well as the transportation system. Aloft Minneapolis.
Hmmm.....I spent a hundred bucks a night for it. Not sure where you got prices. Round trip flight for 2 plus hotel was just over $800 for 4 days.
Just did a google of it and clicked on the site. No rooms for the 18th , they had a room for the 17th though. Where are you flying from? 2 flights and 4 nights accomadation for $800.00 is a great price. Road trips are fun though
It books up quickly. It is the closest nice hotel to the game and the other fun stuff. I'm flying from Missouri connecting through Chicago I believe. Expedia thing. Lets get a beer anyways Maybe find a Dolphan tailgate Last year in Atlanta we had a huge turnout and rented out the entire floor of a bar. Papa Pump and a Dolphins motorcycle, etc. I stayed at the team hotel.
Nice choice. Close enough to the light rail too so you can get to Mall of America if that's your bag. There will be lots of tailgating going on so get out to the stadium early. The tailgate lots will begin filling in around 6AM and be full and party atmosphere by 8. Also - if anybody is there a day early or a day later you should stop by and and take in a ballgame at the new Twins stadium. (Twins are playing at home that entire weekend) It's worth a visit even if you are not a fan.
Thanks. I'm looking forward to checking out you beautiful city. Any suggestions on a great dinner place?
Just saw that this week. Me and my friends are heading up Saturday morning so we can tailgate that game. My hotel is fairly close to the UM campus and then do some more tailgating Sunday. I believe my tickets are section 226. Going to be a blast. I'm stoked.
Anyone know where the Dolphins are staying? Here in Minny and would love to see the team early morning.
