5 im off from school for the summer but the amount of time i play this in august depends on how good Madden 11 is because it going to be tough for me not to want to play with the 2010 fins

 

So trade for Dansby and Marshall in Madden 10.

So after playing Aboome I'll say my piece.

First off I believe him when he says it's just an engage eight. That's what it looked like to me. And it wasn't the same play over and over...the blitz looked the same, but the coverage behind it varied a bit I think.

I'd say it's definitely more than a normal blitz, but a bit less than a nano. Kind of an in between. Certain plays it gets to you in the blink of an eye, others you can block it and buy a little time. Won't lie, I hadn't seen any blitzes quite like his.

I ended up winning 18-16 because I faked an extra point and got two early in the game. I dont know if that's cheap...all I can say is I noticed he picked field goal block, saw an advantage and attacked it. Had he picked FG block safe or whatever I'd have lost.

He scored with like 30 seconds left but didnt get the two. Great game.

 

I do think the "nano" thing made playing him less fun. I was back to playing madden instead of playing football.

I do think without it aboome could still beat me. I lost 3 other games against players who didn't use it.

 

I use nanos every single play, always and still lose. Every time.

 

I do not have a run of the mill TE. Heap should be Vilma and his back up is faster. In one on one coverage in real football Heap and Squirek would beat Vilma and Urlacher

That is if Squirek was a real boy.

 

I see no reason why this shouldn't keep going for a while thought I'm a bit worried to see what happens when my old QB and RB retire.

 

Yeah, that's one thing I don't like about playing online. I'm level 10 and I get a lot of players at that level or higher, and a lot of those players do things more Madden than football. Good thing is all the AFC playoff teams I've played (Browns season one, rest this season) except you and all seem to play without anything you have to google.

Oh, getting this thread back on topic hmm... Still have a 70 CB and 75 RT on the block.

 

Hey Starry... I may be interested in that 70 CB. Could possibly offer you an 80MLB to add to your corps, if there is some other value you can add to your end of that package.

First I need to go check out your CBs, though, to see their ratings.

 

I have four players that may not be around much longer and I'm wondering if there is any interest in them for the playoff push because at this point I may not be going.

heh I wouldn't pack it in yet. You will be tied with the Cardinals after this week and split your series, you will both have 5-1 division record if you beat the Rams, so third tie-breaker would be conference record which you have right now. Cardinals have Vikings and Falcons, two games that aren't gimmes. You have Rams and Saints, one gimme and one tough game. Good chance you guys tie and I think you'd grab the tie-breaker, again no one trust my playoff speculations 100% please lol. It's pretty much going come down to the last week for you guys so hang on , and good luck. I only put the Cardinals in over you because I'm gambling they'll beat the Vikings and Falcons, who knows if they will or not. If he loses next week I think you'd automatically be penciled in after a win over the Rams, but again I just like trying to guess and project and may not be 100% right, though I think have a good grasp.

 

what are you looking for for walter jones and/or kerney?

 

For Jones I would be happy if I could get some defensive help almost anywhere on the field.

Kerney I'm not sure yet, he's 35 but could have 2-3 seasons left so he has a little more value.

What do you have you want to move?
