While I'm happier with Marshall....... I'd have been happy with Bryant too. I couldn't care less about all the other BS, that kid is gonna be a beast on the field. Oh and thanks for screwing up that draft we were having in the lounge.... we all enjoyed waiting on you for days.
Ehh sometimes the other BS can be a huge issue. Especially when it's within the locker room. Distractions are not good for a football team. I love Marshall now because he has shown great signs of maturity since arriving. Bryant hasn't and he's already become a distraction in Dallas. So while I agree with you that what happens on the field comes first, what happens off the field should not ever be taken lightly.

I can see it both ways, Dez is remarkably talented, and should definately be a force, but I can also see headgames being played and him failing to deal with it on the field.....in any event should be interesting...

I didn't say I was right, yet. I still believe Bryant will never be as good as Marshall. But you are right, we will have to wait and see.
Ireland made a sincere apology but the Bryant family just won't let it go, so screw them. They don't deserve any sympathy and the writer (Silver) also just can't let it go. Sometimes the best response is no response.
I can also see his mother or even his father looking at his new found wealth as their new found wealth and 'upping their game' and dragging him down with them.
