This is not an article. This is actual video of Dez Bryant. http://www.nfl.com/videos/dallas-cowboys/09000d5d817e2c3d/Bryant-moving-on He does not deny that his father is a pimp which I thought was interesting.
Anyone else recall the "oh, he's NOT a Diva" Dizzy Bryant supporters in the predraft period? What has it been, a week? Good luck Jerruh with the Eugene Parker holdout Jerruh..."oh, he was a top ten talent, he should receiver a top ten draft pick contract" Jerruh=Suckah.
I don't think Dez is telling the truth, but saying he doesn't want to talk about it anymore is hardly being a diva.
So glad the Dez Dispenser isn't a Dolphin. It is going to be so funny watching him pull Dallas into a spiral of drama. He's going to make TO look tame. I can see it now. A DB will crack a mama joke, and he will beg for a flag.
Agreed; but if he didn't want to talk about it he should have kept it to himself. I would hope he's not so naive as to think you can throw that sort of accusation out there and believe that afterward it would just go away. Any halfwit knows that controversy is going to cause talk. Furthermore, if you level an accusation there's an expectation that the other side will have their own version; which is also going to get discussed.
For a'lot of none football fan's this story is just getting started http://www.youtube.com/user/TheYoungTurks#p/u/4/3dijVIDgQHs
non-football fans do not reside in Dolfandom nor do they support our team Steve Ross: 'I consider the matter closed'
Dez made his bed when he initially flapped his gums on the matter in a sad attempt to bring negative publicity to the Dolphins for not taking him top 15, and now he's going to have to sleep in it.
Son of a Crack Ho say's what? This guy has no credability, remember he lied to the NCAA last year also. This year he lies to the media!
one can only dream.... imagine there were people at this board that would have sold their soul to the devil to draft him. that is laughable.
Imagine if we did draft him....would he even sign here? Honestly all of this stuff should have been handled behind the scenes, I think we dodged a bullet not drafting him.
And was kinda hoping that the mods would add a 'Slap' feature to go along with their 'Like' feature so I could slap Kila.....
We can be glad Marshall is our wide receiver. Good thing we didn't waste that 1st round on Diz Bryant.
If the Dolphins would have drafted Dez Bryant the question would never have been mentioned and Bryant would have been talking about somebody else. He is the one who is keeping this going he loves being the victim. People who proclaim to be fans of football do know there are a lot worse things being said on the field by players during play, don't they? Dez Bryant is setting himself up for a really difficult time on the field in the future.
What I find laughable is how everyone thinks Dez Bryant is a diva and will be the wide receiver version of Ryan Leaf because Jeff Ireland asked him if his mom is a prostitute.
same thing that made leaf a mental case. overreacting to perceived slights. its a business. control the things you can which is how you play on the field and dont sweat the other aspects of the game. and if he cant figure out why ireland asked that question then he's a moron too but we already knew that from the interviews he's done. **** dez bryant and his crack whore mom for badmouthing our dolphins GM. glad he isnt a dolphin. Hope chants of "crackwhore" follow him around as he visits other teams stadiums
My question is, if Ireland was asking this question to all of the prospects, then why is only Dez Bryant acting like a little ***** about it. What a cry baby!
All I saw in the thread title before clickiing on it was "Dez Bryant calls Jeff Ireland" I was half expecting to click into the thread and see that Dez Bryant had called Jeff to give him the nightly rates.
I can't think of a player I've ever disliked to the point that I hate this punk. I mean when the NFL Network and ESPN talk about all the other teams and what they are doing, but all they have to say about Miami is more about this stupid story. Then Ross gets out there and says 'We'll review our interview process to be more sensitive.' Come on. That's the problem with the NFL. Ross should have come out and said "Look, Dez...I'm sorry your precious feelings got hurt, and that your mommy wasn't there to change your diaper before you were interviewed. You have shown that you do not have the character to be on a respectable team like the Miami Dolphins. You have shown that you would rather shine the spotlight on yourself, rather than showing a potential employer that you are worth spending millions of dollars on. Therefore, you have found the perfect spot to be in with the Cowboys. And after a tantrum or two, I'm sure Al Davis would love to have you. Have a nice career, and be ready when you face defensive backs in actual games, because they will say things to you far worse than the question that my general manager asked you. Remember, the refs do not throw flags on words. They do throw flags on unsportsmanlike conduct, which is what it would be called if you retaliated against the defensive back...no matter what he said about your mommy. That is also all you have shown from the combine to now. Unsportsmanlike conduct. Thank you for your time." Grow up you little punk. I hope every one of Miami's defensive backs gets an interception or brutal tackle on you in the preseason game.
So, and I may be reading to much into your post, but I take it you are not a fan of Mr. Bryant? (or crack whores I guess)
That's assuming Jeff Ireland was actually asking everyone if his mother's a prostitute, which I seriously doubt he was.
I havent liked him since I heard the guy's interviews. He comes across as a child. I dont think he has the right mental makeup for the game. Even in this instance he had a few choices when Ireland asked him the question a) tell Ireland it was innapropriate b) answer the question c) punch Ireland in the face He chose B because even though he was "insulted" that didnt stop him from wanting to collect a paycheck from the Dolphins. Being picked 12th was more important than defending his mother's honor. And instead of dealing with the person who "insulted" him face to face like a man would do he goes crying to the media afterwards. He's nothing but a little whiny *****
Sorry, but you are speaking with your feelins here. It's obvious that you wanted all defense this Off season, and you weren't really a fan of any top tier receiver. Any time Bryant is mentioned, you never had anything positive to say about him. From what I understand, Ireland asked him the question. Bryant didn't snap. He stayed calm, and said no. Sure, he's calling Ireland a liar. But, how do we know Ireland isn't lieng?
Here is an excellent article by Pat Kirwan. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d817e351f&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true Great read. It made me think of something. Someone actually. Michael Vick. The people in a player's life have a lot to do with their football career. In Vick's case it nearly cost him everything. Even though Dez Bryant has never been convicted of a crime the people he hangs out with will have a major impact on his career. If his father is a pimp that could be an issue. Maybe even a big enough issue to take him off your board. Personally I would want to know if Bryant's mother was one of his father's prostitutes and I would want to know how that affects Bryant. Also as much as I hate to say it I believe if our GM was black instead of white I don't feel the question would have bothered Dez Bryant.
