I know I probably should have posted this under "AFC East" but I wanted as many eyes to see it hahahahaha, get the feeling it is just the beginning....I'll be back, I gotta go start junk on the Jets forum.... WPXI in Pittsburgh reports Santonio Holmes had to be escorted off a plane Thursday night at Pittsburgh International Airport. Holmes was not arrested, but he had to be pulled off the plane for what investigators termed being a "disruptive passenger." NFL commissioner Roger Goodell isn't going to look kindly on the incident after the offseason that Holmes has had. We were skeptical that Holmes was going to keep his nose clean earlier this month when he issued an apology with a marijuana symbol still present on his official website.
I know I saw pft and though for a second it was true hahahah...he wouldnt shut off his iPod.....u got me lucky lol.....I believed it too cuz imagine if that was the actually the reason ahahahhaah The plane was docked at Gate D77 when a "disturbance" involving an iPod and refusal to comply with flight crew demands was reported, investigators said.
Pardon me while I morph into a Gang Green troll. Get the feeling the Rooneys knew what they were doing?
Yeah, in the last 10 years, I think it's been pretty ingrained into this societies brain. You do not **** with anything on an airplane. If you're told to do anything short of self/physical endangerment you comply with a smile on your face. Have fun with this guy New York, you got a real gem...
http://kdka.com/steelers/Santonio.Ho...2.1666600.html This story won't drown out the Ireland story, try as you might. This is much ado about nothing.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha The Ireland story will be dead in about 30 minutes to an hour. Holmes being a belligerent d-bag on a plane, will count towards his already winning off season performance.
I've been there. Sometimes the flight attendant asks me to turn off my iPod, and I tell her "Hey, NOBODY unplugs Thomas Dolby!". Then I scream "SHE BLINDED ME WITH SCIENCE DOO DOO DO!", at the top of my lungs.
In Santonio's defense, Noma Numa Yei is probably a song you usually listen to in its entirety, and it was probably rude of the flight attendants to interrupt it.
I'm actually pretty surprised by this. One would think that Holmes has had enough experience traveling to know that turning off all electronic devices prior to departure/arrival is standard operating procedure these days. He needed this explained to him before complying? If this story is true, he's more of an idiot than I originally thought.
what did Ireland do wrong big boy? You are talking about a punk weed smoking idoit, who yet again feels it is his right to do as he feels....too many egos in that locker room.... In Rhode Island, there is a club called Dark Lady........its a gay bar.....
A bar I'm sure you frequent! What's worse, smoking weed, or whooping your wife's ***/facilitating the death of a teammate? I'm sure there are some potheads/casual weed smokers on this board. This is a huge non story. Brandon Marshall is a great WR but comparing him and Santonio Holmes on levels of thuggery is an argument you can't win.
1) Assuming gets you nowhere in life. 2) Ask the commissioner if it is a non-story 3) This isn't a Brandon Marshall discussion, no need to be jealious that Miami has him, and you guys low balled the offer to him...I'm sure if the Jest had him, he would be "rehabbing his image" and "not that bad of a guy" right??
Why would I be jealous when we have Darrelle Revis? You think the commissioner is going to Suspend Holmes additionally for failing to remove his Ipod, then being allowed back on the plane? Get real dude. Anything to take the bad press off of your FO. Don't take it out on me dude,Im not Mike & Mike or ESPN or PFT sucking the marrow out of the bone on the Ireland story.
in the end, nobody cares about ireland cause he will not be wearing a dolphins jersey this year. holmes will be wearing a jets jersey though. Or maybe not, as he's proving he's still an idiot. It really doesn't matter the reason why he was escorted off the plane, the fact that he actually had to be escorted of a ******* plane just to turn off his ipod shows how dumb this guy is.
Because disturbing a plane pales in comparison to asking if someone's mother, who works for their father, who is a pimp, is a prostitute I give up. They throw that federal offense thing around pretty readily when it comes to airplanes. You don't have to do a whole lot to piss off the TSA.
Revis hasnt ever, and will not ever cover our guys....the kid is soft...Cromatie hahaha....Kyle Wilson is your best cover corner, and the kid doesnt even have a number yet... Again I ask, What did Jeff Ireland do?? Instead of feeding off your ridiculous Jets friends for advice, and coming on here and vomiting all over yourself, realize that eventually the truth comes out....Dez Bryant told Ireland his father was a pimp....here here read on... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20.../dez.bryant.jeff.ireland/index.html?eref=sihp
Yea, asking somebody an inappropriate question definitely trumps grounding an air flight by creating a disturbance. Holmes definitely gets a pass on this cause he never grounded a flight before. But Ireland needs to be fried for asking an inapproriate question, should he be lynched or tarred and feathered? sheesh!
Revis is soft? Kyle Wilson has yet to play a down in the NFL and he's a better cover corner than Revis? Srsly? Revis is the best cover corner in the NFL, hands down. Oh BTW, Dez Bryant said the Dolphins take on the "question" is all lies. It's now become He said-He Said. P.S. Kyle Wilson is #20
champs the best cover cb. he always has been. then its namdi. and then its revis. but revis generally wasnt tested very much, a case proven by ted ginn last year. as for dez, let him deny. its a wr vs an organization now. he loses.
Lol, look at dlj sticking up for her thug turd jets player. How cute. How's McKnight doing, finished puking and cramping up? Nice to see he kept in shape after the combine.
Yes, you swept the JETS last year, how did that work out for you though? Are you guys really saying Revis isnt good? And for the poster than mentioned Champ Bailey, who would you take on the Phins right now, a 24 yr old Darrelle Revis who isn't even in his prime yet, but is the best @ what he does, or a long in the tooth 32 yr old Champ Bailey with declining skills?
