ehhh I just dont see it, Miami isnt gonna pay one penny over what they want, and this guy doesnt want to take any less.....but he should...

The only benefit in getting him is so he can dime out the Pats playbook.....hmmmm?

I think he's probably washed up, but if he wants to come in for 2 games this year and really turn it up full blast against the Pats, I wouldn't be all that upset.

We had a guy last year who had around the same amount of tackles. He also had 4 more sacks than Thomas. That guy is now a Jet.

Remember when in the same offseason, the Pats were praised for signing A. Thomas and the Dolphins were laughed at for signing Joey Porter? At least Joey had one productive year!

If we sign him, this should be a slap in the face/reality check for Taylor. He WOULD have been signed to the Phins to mentor, play some snaps, and help us go forward. Instead he's now the enemy.

I could see a one year tender offer. He may be yet another big name signee headed for the Jets.
BTW-Is it just me or do the Jets this year remind you of the '94 Dolphins and the ridiculous talent we had that just expected success but faltered miserably (keep drinking the kool aid Jet fans).

This is kind of off topic, but the Jets have more ego on their team than they do talent. And don't take that the wrong way, they have talent, but I have a feeling they're just going to implode. I'm hoping I'm right obviously for selfish reasons, but I just don't see it.

They really can't make their defense much better than it was, and they've still got Sanchez at QB. I think he'll eventually be a top 10-15 QB in the league, but not next season. It looks like they banked on making it big this season, but will likely fall short due to Sanchez who I just don't see being ready, and a downgraded running attack. If this defense is still like it is in 3 years, I'll be worried. But the Jets are far from a complete package if you ask me.

I honestly think they made a mistake in how they built up this team. Sink or swim this year is going to rest heavily on Sanchez' shoulders. They've given him all the tools he needs. If he gets off to a rocky start that city will boo him out faster than you can say Ryan Leaf. I just see that being the keystone to the next Jets collapse.

But hey, maybe I'm wrong. I did say I was being hopeful right? :)
