I'll help ya....solid but no where near spectacular transfer who can make tackles and play with much more effort than talent. ST contributions will be the3 difference in if he makes this team or not.
i get a kick out of how they described him at OSU: After three years of waiting, Ohio State linebacker Austin Spitler finally is getting his chance to be a starter. Austin Spitler is one of the strongest players on the Ohio State football team -- "hillbilly strong," to hear his teammates tell it. The fifth-year senior linebacker admits that, at least in some ways, the description fits. Spitler has baled hay. He drives a silver Dodge Ram pickup. He wears a scruffy beard, at least until the coaches tell him to ditch it. He is one of the few players on the team -- he counted five out of 105 -- who likes country music. http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/...n-spitler-official-thread-12.html#post1517075
Anyone Surprised Jarrett Brown from West Virginia Wasnt Drafted Fastest Quarterback in That Draft and Did well Replacing Pat White
Nobody can say this FO isn't trying to make the defensive front seven better. That's a lot of linebackers they drafted. You have to think one or two of them will be pretty decent players.
