I prefer hail mary's as opposed to laterals down the field

We should have punted the first time but I liked the second time we went for it. Field Conditions made the FG a very low percentage play and a punt is only going to net you about 15 yards.

Surprise surprise we lose by 3 again!

Now I bet you if Cam could take those moronic 4th and 15s back he'd at least try to kick a damn FG

Yep, I can understand 4th and 5 or less and going for it . . . he went on 4th and 11 and 4th and 15, instead of atleast trying a mid 40's FG . . . I dunno man, he has really made some questionable calls . . . and as much as I don't want more change at HC, he has gotta show better game management . . . he played like an OC tonight and not a HC.

This is the first game I can say is all on Cam, the plays were slow coming in, you need to kick that field goal.

    Cam choked!

Only 15 yards? In this game, 15 yards would have been HUGE.

it seems through 11 games Cam hasn't learned anything yet. he continues to make the same mistake every game.

i would like to know why Cam sent Ricky back to the locker room.

The first time we should have absolutely punted the first time . . . but the FG should have been the called the second time. Yea its a 43 yarder but on pretty much the nicest patch of grass on the field . . . . u try the kick in the dirt from 38, why not on grass from 43. Made no sense.

    Horrible . . . just horrible.

i think we need to put WR pretty near the top as far as priority this offseason.

Maybe, but I still thought it was a decent call. The 4th and 15 was very bad IMO though given the field position. We could have gotten some decent yards out of a punt there, more at least then on the second one.

All the stuff about kicking FGs in this weather is baloney. Even if it is a low percentage play, well guess what we had two of them, add them up and we would have had a HUGE chance to be watching OT right now instead of being pissed off about yet another 3pt loss.

I said the same thing, better the 40 than the 20 . . . it was the difference from starting at the 6 yard line and the 26 yard line . . . that was a OC call, not a HC call, plain and simple

Well....whether it gets lost in the loss tonight...

Our defense played unbelievable.....9 times inside our 50 and 3 to show?

I thought Beck played very well considering the conditions. No picks in two games....two games where the conditions were awful. Im very impressed. Made some nice throws..stepped up into the pocket nicely.

I cant wait till next year when we finally take the gloves off the kid and let him throw...

I think you are forgetting that we tried it from 38 and it wasn't close. 43 on that field with that much water is a VERY low percentage FG try.

The first time we went for it, we lost 8 yards. The second time we lost 5. A horrible punt is better than that.

Actually I look at it the other way. We are winless but a lot of them have been close games that we could have won. Its better then being winless because you are just getting blown out every week.

Has to wear on the players though to get close so many times and still not be able to pull it out. Wearing and very frustrating.

If we go 0-16, it won't matter how close the games were. I'm extremely frustrated right now because we should have won tonight. This was a game that Cam lost.

it was blocked the first time because we were trying to rush the play and didn't wanna call timeout . . . we had time to properly set it up the second time and on a better patch of grass . . . it was the right call . . . and worse comes to worse, they start at the 33 . . . hell they still started at the 31 with the sack . . . which of course was the direct result of trying to get 11 yards on 4th down . . . Pitt is blitzing and we have a 4th string back in the game . . . and we want 11 yards . . . . seriously bad call, I can't defend Cameron for that, we brought Feely in here for a reason, and he failed to use him in the Houston game and now this game . . . . I'm really getting upset by his negligence . . . he spoiled a fantastic effort by this defense tonight.

Jets are probably the weakest team left on our schedule. Suck we will have to do it on a short week after playing an away game.

If our D continues to play like this we wont be going winless, trust me. :)

This loss really doesn't crush me, I have been just trying to enjoy the season for quite a while with the knowledge that we are simply a ways away from being a good football team. The turnaround is just going to take some time, and it looks like the D is going in the right direction.... Now we just need to get Beck some experience so the offense can start doing the same.

And find Booker, Hagan, and Martin all a new set of hands.

Seriously, this cat casually went for it on 4th and 11 and 4th and 15 like it was nothing . . . I mean wtf . . . geez man . . . Cam obviously doesn't know how to play the field position game.

We have the Jets at home, at the Bills, Ravens at hime, at NE, and home for the Bengals.

I could see us beating the Jets and maybe the Bills, Ravens or Bengals.

I don't care about the conditions in that situation; what a disgusting "head coach"

I am going to boo the hell out of him next week. I'm gonna scream my lungs out........

We only have 5 games left to "not" go winless . . . iono man, its bad when u know your are gonna lose even before it happens . . . thats how it has been as a Miami dolphin fan this year.

See you guys next week . . . Beck makes his home debut . . . I expect the stadium will be PACKED . . . and I think we will see Beck a bit more unleashed in hopeful great weather . . . I am expecting a win next week, no exceptions.

    Also, I was falling in and out of sleep;

What did he use the first two timeouts on in the second half?

Can anyone run down the situations?

u know Madden online, i don't even think they let u go for it on 4th and long, unless you are in the redzone or in a end of the half/game situation lol . . . people kept saying it wasn't fair.

LMAO one was because they couldn't get the play off in time for the 4th and 15th play from the 31 yard line . . . so he calls timeout and then he still goes for it. He should have punted to begin with, it would have also saved the timeout.

If it was 4th and 5, that is one thing . . . but 4th and 15, man o man

I fell asleep and woke up on the last drive and saw that we had one timeout.

    I said to myself,

"I guarantee he blew two stupid timeouts to cost us any chance of a last drive"

Seriously, this guy is the dumbest/worst coach I have ever seen in my life.
