Both went D with their 2 picks. Miami took the 2 players that were at the top of their board. Ravens took 2 players I wish we had in Kindle and Mt. Cody. Both fill needs on the D and both traded down to achieve this.
Kindle's a gamble and although you can't move manboobs in the middle, he can't move either. Odricks big and athletic and Misi has a great motor and football IQ.
Only time will tell.. Lets put some pads on these boys and let them play a little first. Personally I like what we've done. But As much as i'm not really sold on Cody, putting him next to Ngata on that line in baltimore, with adding Kindle to the ravens existing LB core... its a really nice fit for them I think.
In soccer terms Dolphins 2 Ravens 0 I think we get caught up too much on what the print media and gurus think. The only thing that matters is what our regime thinks.Remember they have the benefit of knowing which direction the team is going.
Ravens got two boom or bust types: Kindle: his knee could explode any day now Cody: could be 430lbs by august We got two solid guys at positions of need. If the Ravens get lucky they'll have had a better draft, but today, I'd take ours.
I honestly like what both teams have done... I feel the Ravens definitely took some chances, but their upside is pretty huge... Definitely like our "safer" picks as well, though...
Koa Misi is not a safe pick and is very much a boom or bust guy. High motor yes, but that doesnt translate into safe. Hes also had back problems, never a good thing.
Nfl.com on Odrick's opinion regarding being athletic Weaknesses Is only an average athlete with below-average lateral mobility. We question his change of distance in space. Odrick’s struggles to separate and disengage from blockers, needs to expanded his pass rush package and range.
Werent people saying flaco was not gonna be good too ? so far our first rounder will put us back unless he turns out to be a pro bowler. I think the stinky jets are having the best run along with the broncos
