Cowboys considering offering 1,2,3 to move up to 13 to draft E. Thomas

They wont make this trade unless we've turned in our card already and it doesn't say Earl Thomas.

 

We draft Thomas cause we need him, then we hold ALL the cards. Phili and Dallas can get into a bidding war for him. No need to speculate just draft now ask questions later. Worst case scenario we are stuck with Thomas Oh Noes!!!

 

Could be nice, but those "NBA-like" trades where one team drafts a player and then immediately trades him away are very rare in the NFL. The only time I really remember such a thing happening was the Manning/Rivers fiasco, but that was more or less forced on the teams.
