Despite the fact this brings a record holding 26 year old WR to Miami, there will be a lot of gnashing of teeth over this. Personally I think it's great for the team and this will get us the physical talent we haven't seen in...14 years?

OMG...that is a BLOCKBUSTER deal. Depending on what the "other pick next year" is, that's a great deal for us IMO.

Now, if we can somehow restock the picks we're giving up, we'll be in good shape.

They suck for making this deal. It is bad enough that they are trading TWO SECOND ROUND PICKS FOR A STINKING RECEIVER. It's worse that the receiver they are trading for belongs in jail.

Think of it like this, Brandon Marshall for Pat White and Phillip Merling. Not bad IMO. I'm not a big fan of Marshall either but this trade makes our offense one of the top units in the league.

Now think of the options at #12. Gonna make the draft even more exciting now. Way to go Parcells and Co.

Awesome News! We get one of the best young WR's in the league for 2 2nd round draft chocices. Based on recent history with 2nd round draft choices, this is a really good move. Now we can focus on FS, OLB with the first pick.

Was happy when it was for our second this year. Not sure how happy I am knowing it could be two second round picks.

While I'm thrilled about Marshall coming here, at the same time I'm not due to his character issues and the fact that we gave up what appears to be a 2nd this year, and a 2nd next year. I'm ok with the 2 this year, but not OK with it next year as well. Unless of course Marshall behaves, and lights it up this year

*sighs* I don't like this because of the record Brandon Marshall has and what we gave for compensation. But I'm willing to give a blank slate and hope that he keeps his head straight, albeit with some reluctance.

    So, welcome to Miami.

Trading two 2nds just means you aren't going to need a qb for a couple years. Seriously...this is equal to a 2nd and 3rd this year which is better than giving up your first and he's better than Dez Bryant. Just think about what the cowboys gave up for Roy williams and you'll feel much better about it. You have an elite reciever now. You couldve spent two 2nds on wrs and not gotten that.

I don't know if I like the deal off the bat. I was much more up for drafting Dez Bryant than dealing for Brandon Marshall. This is a guy that does have issues and he's shown that he hasn't gotten over anything.

Giving up a 2nd round this year, and a 2nd round next year seems high to me too.

I guess we assumed that we wouldn't be able to land Dez Bryant. If he isn't there when we pick at #12, I say this might be a good deal, but if he's there, I don't like it.

Marshall is a far superior deal than would have been realized w/taking a chance on an unproven receiver @ 12. we can now go defense w/ the pick, knowing the WR issues are behind us.
