Dude comes off the bench man. He's literally Willy Steamen Beamen not thinking both QBs ahead of you are going down. Dude got us into the game.

Do you forget the score was 27-10 before Thigpen even took a snap?

I would flat out waive White before I'd trade Thigpen for any less than a 2nd.

Well, there is one person with some brains around here.:knucks:

Every God Damned day I see these God Damned trade Tyler Thigpen threads. It makes me want to ******* puke. We finally have a proven young backup QB and people want to trade him, generally for another mid round pick, which is what we paid for him. :headwall: Unless someone wants to pay a 2 or better, I'd rather get rid of both Penny and White before trading TT. So, say we did trade him...what if Henne gets hurt? We have the brittle and rehabbing Penny, and the never done squat in this league White to play QB. Excuse me if that does not make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I guess you have a very loose definition of the word "effective", or just like to be contrary for the sake of a good argument.

No doubt whatsoever. Not only was he 0 for 5 passing, besides the one 33 yard run against the Pats, he was 20 carries for 48 yards. Other than that one play he was pathetic and really looked like a boy amongst men out there. Well, he did hand off the ball pretty nice and had a couple of clean pitches to Ricky.

    fervently disagree:
Pat White can play returns on SpecialTeams, the Slot, WR, the WildCat & even some ScatBack. he could be the Holder on field goal & extra point attempts, opening up passing/running options everywhere.
the guy is the consummate football player & will find his way to contribute @ something other than as a conventional offensive QB, although he could even cover that in an emergency. Pat White will not disappoint once he's found his role in the game. he is potentially, a premier NFL talent
