Ditto, no problems here. But I don't run it into the ground either.

I've had my 60 GB since about January 2007. I played Resistance hard, and a few other games. I watch all of my DVD's and Blu-Rays on there, and sometimes, well, I just leave it on. I also run Folding @ Home quite often. With that said, I have never experienced a single problem with my PS3.

Flip Side: I have friends who played their 360's on and off for 3-5 months and got the red light of death. Can you imagine, now, with GTA IV coming out on the 29th.....if you suffer from Microsoft's horrific red light and have to wait a month before getting your 360 back? Yikes! My 360 fills the empty spot in my closet pretty well, though.

The newer units don't get it. I know when I got my 360 2 years ago I had some problems with it and got the RROD twice but the system never crapped out. I got it replaced for free and nothing is wrong with it. I only waited 2 weeks. Out of the PS3 and 360 I would still pick the 360 over the PS3 just because the amount of great games that are already on the 360. I do plan on getting a PS3 in the future though.

Yeah, I was just teasing. I've never taken place in a Sony/Microsoft fanboy debate since I own both consoles, so I wanted to try it out.

(although my 360 has been in my closet (literally) since January '07) :wink2:

woah... I had the red lights of death a few months ago, took me a total of three days to send it in and get it back excluding the public holiday that fell in between. Must not be as big a problem down here.
