Red Dead Redemption [MERGED]

This will be better than Gun. I played through Red Dead Revolver about four years ago and enjoyed it a lot. This one should be even better and is one I'm really looking forward to.

 

I loved the first one...It was the last game for PS2 that I bought before making the switch.

 

im excited for this. i have it reserved. though i have every big title next year reserved. Looks great and you know Rockstar is putting there best effort to it.

Nothing you can't do in this game. I can't wait to lasso an NPC and drag him to death on my horse. Hunting is going to be fun as hell. There are over 40 different types of animals in this game -- even snakes. I remember reading in an earlier preview that the player turned over a rock looking for some treasure, and got bit by a rattlesnake instead.

I'm not a fan of Westerns, but it's Rockstar. They will not fail.

This may be my most anticipated game for next year. I love a good western.

this does look good.

Looks like crap compared to mass effect 2 but that's because Mass effect 2 is going to end the world of gaming as we know it.

next year is shapin up to be a huge year for games.

Gears of War 3 is a likely release as well that has yet to be announced. Halo Reach is almost an after thought it seems. Heavy Rain is gonna be great. ME 2, God of War 3, red dead, Bioshock 2, Metroid Other M, galaxy 2...ridiculous.

damn it. too many games, not enough time. im never gonna get to halo odst and brutal legend, with all these upcoming games.

i never played the first though, and coming out the same month but after FF13...I dont know.

Really happy for Final Fantasy, God Of War, CoD, Gears, GTA, Mass Effect, and all of that other bullish and I'ma let them finish, but this is going to be the greatest game of all time... OF ALL TIME.

 

This is a must buy for me. Usually I can wait but I'm getting this one on the release date. There's a new trailer on gamespot.com showing some of the female personalities in the game.

Well, originally, seeing how Rockstar has the reputation of delaying games several times before release, I was pissed and self-speculating that it would be pushed back again and again, but apparently this is final. This is good, though. I'd rather get the finished product on May 18th than a buggy product that needs several patches on April 27th. Rockstar, thankfully, has PROMISED the delivery date of May 18th via their official website:

I preordered this the other day. I think this is the farthest out I've ever committed to buying a game on its release date. I sure hope this turns out as good as it looks like it will.

 

Wow, this sucks. No not the game, the fact I'm looking at Alan Wake, BackBreaker football, and Red Dead Redemption all coming out on the same day!!

Not a big Western fan, but this looks really good. Looks like Alan Wake will have to wait or become a rental down the road. I can't go without a new football game, and RDR looks like too much fun to pass up either.

 

UFC game comes out around that time as well. Looks like I will have to lock myself in a room for a month.

This game looks like its going to be everything that I thought was missing from "GUN".
