Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Seems OK, seems like there's noticeably less choppers and airstrikes now. But that might be my imagination.

My K/D ratio is .91. I play run and gun with a lot of objective bases games and I actually try for the objective. I stopped caring about my K/D ratio in January...LOL!

 

Speaking of which, what's up with always turning down my game invites?

I quit caring about my kill/death ratio a while back. I think I'm sitting around .6 something and around 400 deaths under .500.

 

My k/d is 0.98... Yes I do care and try to go positive every game... I play mostly team death match

 

mine is 1.09 never got a nuke. never tried. ive used all 3 of my killstreaks by 11 kills.

 

Mine is 1.3 and I tend to play Deathmatch or Search... I like to snipe.

 

Yeah I hardly ever have my Nuke on. I just moved up to 0.99 During the last two weeks I have gone from 0.92 to 0.99. WoW

 

Sorry dude. Whenever I accept peoples invites I end up at a game that has already started and is full. I finally gave up after awhile. I wish we had a clan, I'd like some teamwork...LOL!

 

I tried and had a couple people but we were still a few short. I primarily play Demolition and it drives me crazy when kids camp or only care about their k/d as we lose the game.

 

How is Halo any better? You can be shooting the crap out of somebody, and then they melee you, and you die. It's exactly the same as Modern Warfare. The whole Lightweight/Marathon/Commando Pro class setup is ghey as hell. While we're talking about stuff that should be changed...the shotguns need to be nerfed. If they were as good in real life as they are in this game, we would never have invented assault rifles. Oh yeah, the pistols are crazy good, too. They need to nerf the shotties and the pistols.

 

i cant wait for the next COD. its going to be made by the company that made CoD5WaW. i remember being on their site and reading the forums. people gave input on what they wanted in the game and some of the stuff actually made it there. i remember the attack dogs being one of them. everyone either hated or loved that idea.

 

I've only been playing Demolition lately. Next time you hit me with an invite I'll back out and maybe we can put together a half dozen people so we can actually have some team work.

 

Anyone get the new maps?

I HATE that I can't choose what gametype I want to play. Very lame...

I got my *** handed to me the first few games. I have to learn the new environment.

 

I did not and probably won't unless they come down in price. $15 bucks is too much for 5 maps IMO.

 

I agree, the $15 price tag is what is keeping me from getting it.

 

I agree. I have been playing gay game types and everyone is running around with ****ing noob tubes!!!! I already regret getting the maps.

 

I wish I hadnt bought them. Or at least i wish i'd done some research and known that you couldnt play them in your own gametype. I mostly only play FFA, or TeamDeathmatch... I've played about 6 games on the new maps, and have been stuck in other game types that I have no idea what im doing. So i get tossed into a random game, that I dont really know what I'm doing in, then I get tossed into a new map I know nothing about, and it just becomes a big mess. Had I known we weren't able to pick gametypes, i definately wouldn't have bought them. Right now to me, theyre a waste of money. Im pretty ticked about it.

So how many new maps are there(excluding recycled cod4 maps)? I tried searching on youtube and only found bailout and salvage. Bailout looks like a pretty cool map.

 

3 new ones and the 2 from MW1

 

Crash is the biggest POS map ever. If you spawn at A side, you pretty much have lost. People start camping out over the 3 story building and you're done.

 

Well I found videos of Salvage, and Bailout, but what is the name of the 3rd map?

Story time.... So me and Griddles are playing MW2 and our first map was Derail. Griddles sniped and went 5-1-0 while I went 18-0-0. Apparently u make friends doing good and we get invited to join a team and we join. We start the next match and a guy starts talking smack to me ( if u know me than u know that **** does not fly well with me lol ) match starts. I ended up going 13-11 and Griddles went plus 2 as well however we got our *** handed to us. So this guy starts talkin smack and I go livid and ask for Clan match. Other guy agrees and his clan got **** on. We dominated 2 out of 3 games. :-) Just thought i would share

 

I've always wanted them to make a map of a basketball arena or football/soccer stadium. How fun would it be to run through the lockerooms, onto the court, sniping from the skybox or nosebleeds, headquarters located in the parking garage or concession stands? I'm sure a map of dolphin stadium would make us all nut in our pants.

 

There were no snipers allowed apparently so I got the boot.

 

Nah u did not get booted but U also dont rep the Clan tag either slacker.

OK Well me and Griddles played two matches without the clan (WPWR) and this is how we fared.

!st game Scrapyard. Griddles ended up going 9-9 and I went 32-7 and we lost. It really stinks when you get 30 kills and still lose lol.

2nd game Wasteland. Other team talking smack and I predicted Griddles would rape. I went 28-11 and Griddles went 25-0 (14 kills from chopper gunner). Together we had 53 kills and we let the 4 other ppl get 22 and yes we won!!!



Now we just need Pete.

 

Might I add I had all my classes set up for hardcore in the Scrapyard game!

 

Might I add that was ur excuse the game before when we were tricked into playing sabotage! I just hate getting randoms that suck so bad.
