Yeah, I think so. He's probably late third/early fourth region. As much as I think he may not amount to anything in the NFL, some team will like his quickness.
God I was flipping out thinking Boik was going to take him. I'm really surprised he lasted that long.
Great pick man. If he made it to my pick, I would have taken him even though I don't need a Center. I just didn't want to see him slide anymore lol. Risky pick IMO. Asamoah's talented but has always had anchor issues and he's coming off a serious injury to his shoulder IIRC.
Too bad I was going to take a scat back at 97 hehe... But I picked up 3 extra picks.... and a C that I needed..... Sweet! Now that I have no needs, I can proceed on taking BPA's
Well its a good thing he is playing behind Hutchinson and Chris Chester. I couldn't let a talented versatile Guard get past me. He'll be backing up Hutchinson which wont be often. Great value too IMO.
Never even considered him. As soon as I traded Hartwig all you had to do was look at my roster to know that Joe Berger would have otherwise been my starting center after I traded Hartwig to move up. Tennant has a top 50 grade on everyones board but this leagues apparently besides me and Alen. he shoul have been gone by the end of round 2. I considered him at 88 and 89 but I felt the need at the skill positions was stronger but this came up and it was a no brainer. Glad i didnt take your guy...wouldnt want a Kenny-like flip out Ya man, as we discussed, dude would probably be the top rated C in any draft that didnt have Pouncey. Glad it works for both sides. And we got pick #'s right this time
haha it would have been worst. The one thing I notice on every GM league draft is that Offensive linemen fall. People don't value them very highly for some reason.
The more I watch of him, the more I like him over Pouncey, honestly. Very technically sound, strong, can anchor and moves well to the second level. People can say whatever they want but Boston College can coach up offensive lineman and they have done the same with Tennant. Dude is very good.
He did a great job anchoring against nose tackles in the Senior Bowl practices. Stonewalled Cam Thomas twice in a row. I watched it earlier today for the second time and was impressed. I'm watching him against USC right now. Btw, you seen Anthony Castanzo, the LT of BC? He's going to be good next year when he comes out IMO.
yes, somebody thought better of it... make three great trades with other teams or make one good trade with you...
Updated my writeup on the Ed Dickson pick... http://forums.thephins.com/showpost.php?p=1078998&postcount=94 what a busy third round that was: Dexter "Where'd He Go" McCluster, Dominique "The Dominator" Franks, Reshad "Mister" Jones and Ed "Who's Dorin" Dickson.
Great pick IMO BK. He was one of the guys I mentioned as still being available that I was surprised about.
Yeah I was surprised too which is why I was worried that I might get Bk'd. Alot of Linemen still out there.
Tennant is an animal. Pouncey is a very safe pick but I agree the more I watch Tennant the more he looks like he is the more physical player and just as technically sound if not more so. I have seen Castanzo when i watched Tennant bro. He is definitely a player to keep an eye on. His kick slide is solid and Im seeing a solid first blow. Could be a guy who gets in the top 45 or so picks with a good follow up to his junior year
No. Only when a player I want gets snatched before my pick. Really hasn't happened. The whole Snead thing was a smokescreen.
Whoever made the pick for St Greg needs to delete their post (or Greg's) so that people don't think that player is no longer available.
