Are you trying to tell me that Golden Tate is not good value at 21? I will vehemently disagree with you on this one, he will go around there if not a bit earlier in the real thing.

Should have gone wr. Now ur trading clark for less than what u invested in his replacement. U could keepboth i suppose.

Or I could go to a 2 TE package as my base formation and let you figure out how the heck to defend it. Youre assuming I will actually trade clark which at this point I havent seen an offer worth considering. So right now, thats my probable philosophy

I'll give you credit on that. I'd have probably taken him at 18 had I not moved back anyway. Although, like I said, there were two other players I strongly considered. Odrick isn't the sexiest pick and may not win me a ton of votes here, but I thought he was the best fit for my team and very good value at 22.

I guess that can work two ways but I didnt want it to come to that :pity:

Why? seam routes all over with Royal/Gonzalez on the outside and Collie in the slot. I may not be done giving him targets, I still have 10 more picks to use. Anyone need some picks?

You just said you were running a 2 TE base set. So I'm a bit confused, lol.

    whats so confusing?

    Starting HB: Michael Bush
    WR1: Eddie Royal
    WR2: Anthony Gonzalez
    TE1: Dallas Clark
    TE2: Jermaine Gresham

No starting FB. Collie comes in on 3 WR packages.

I think the wording threw him off, if you wouldve said MY BASE SET will be 2 tight ends he wouldve understood, but it sounds like it was interpeted that you thought having 2 TE's WAS a base set.

You don't have a ton of protection there with two pass catching TE's, but then again, you have Manning, so I guess it's not as much of an issue as it would be for most teams.

    Fair point.

What wrong with an OL of Braden Albert-Joe Berger-Justin Hartwig-Devan-Loadholt? And youre assuming none of the 10 picks I have left will be used there....

Wasn't so much an indictment on your line, which is solid, but a little green on the outside. It was more that usually when you see 2 TE sets, one of those guys has some blocking ability. Gresham could develop in that department, but right now neither of them are too good in that area. But again, Manning lessens the need for extra protection with his ability to get the ball out in time and no doubt that's a dangerous combo that will most certainly create mismatches.

The Packers do have until 11am est tomorrow morning to make this pick. Could a Seattle / NYG trade be in the works at 25? :shifty:

it's funny... when I remind how long a team has to make their pick (no rush etc), they seemingly jump on and make their pick immediately.
