seriously, I hate usf but they are a big east team who has played in 5 straight bowl games, some pretty impressive wins against teams like west virginia and auburn, and were ranked number 2 a couple years ago. Not small.
Not everybody makes it man. Pierre-Paul had family issues and immaturity in high school. That can be tough. On top of that, he was a two-sport athlete and still managed to get a lot of quality offers from schools such as Arizona, USF, UCF, Alabama, LSU, UF, Kansas St., and Nebraska. He just couldn't qualify academically. IMO, their not very small. A very small school doesn't get as much Florida talent as USF does and get in the top 25 IMO.
If I remember this correctly, USF has the most Florida talent from the Florida programs. They have 80%, UF has like 68%, FSU has like 64% and Miami is somewhere around FSU.

Some good picks so far, teams doing a good job addressing needs. The JPP pick is my biggest fear in real life....I could easily see a team like kc or Cleveland getting him before miami gets a chance. I believe he has the ability to be a tremendous player at the NFL level but getting him in the right situation with the right coaches will be critical for a player who is a big raw and most likely learning to be a 3-4 OLB instead of a 4-3 DE. He definitely wasn't getting past 17 as I had him fourth on my big board after Suh McCoy and berry.
Ok. It was just very surprising to see them take JPP as an OLB. I think he'd have been fine as a 4-3 DE, and not knowing that they switched I was a bit caught off guard (because he couldn't be a 4-3 OLB IMO).

actually, think i did pretty good all things considered... out of the nine guys drafted so far, only one did I not have drafted in the top nine.
