yet some here were ridiculous enough to assume that he might have failed his sobriety test because of his foot injury or maybe he was on meds or maybe it was the cops fault. people will say crazy things to protect a player.

turns out ronnie was popped for drunk driving
what a stupid, stupid move on his part

stupid move by ronnie. I would like to remind people though people mess up, no one got hurt, and giving ronnies history he will probably work to make sure it doesn't happen again.

He was coming from a club so I always figured he was probably impaired to some degree.....but the reports coming out were muddled to say least, leading to doubt and speculation.

It wasn't like ppl were refusing to believe Saint Ronnie could do this, confirmed information was just slow to reach the public. It led to ppl having to guess and cover all the angles..

Ronnie's not Pacman......this shouldn't have any impact on his ability to play RB for us in the future. I'm more concerned with his health when TC opens..

i really thought we would never see anything like that from him
just doesnt bode well for a guy who has trouble staying on the field

Blows my mind too. I mean is the money you are gunna save by driving drunk really worth it? It would be great to see Stallworth go to every team and talk to all the players about the Dangers of drinking and driving.

If any player deserves a pass it's Ronnie, he's come up through alot and always kept out of trouble. Got to appreciate the guy for that in this day and age. Everyone screws up big at least once in their life. Luckily noone was hurt and hopefully he learns from this.

You only say that because he is a Dolphin. If he were a Jet you'd be all over him.
Being a Dolphin doesn't give one a free pass to be an idiot.

Me personally I never think its ok. And I was one of the guys defending the cops in this one fyi. I do think its a bit overkill to be getting that upset over a guy who has had no trouble in his career. If this were any normal guy with no record I'm sure most of those getting so upset at ronnie would take that into account. The fame argument cuts both ways.

I never had a doubt, I'm not obsessed with Ronnie Brown.

What are you talking about? Look to the original thread of Ronnie being arrested, a lot of people refused to believe it until they saw the physical report. And "rafael" speculated he failed the field sobriety tests because of his injured foot. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

According to the report, Ronnie NARROWLY missed an oncoming vehicle. Hey, if that was your wife/mother/father/brother/sister/daughter/son in that vehicle would your views still be the same? I wasn't born yesterday so I doubt it....

It sounds like you are almost happy that this came out, so you can prove another poster wrong ...

I personally think that there should be an 8 game suspension for this. Not just for Ronnie, but for any NFL player caught drunk driving.

Unfortunately I am happy this came out because too many people started implying that the cop is racist, foolish, ignorant. And one poster even speculated that Ronnie's foot injury was the reason for him failing the field sobriety test. Am i happy what he did as a man? No. But I am happy that the truth came out so no more ridiculous, foolish speculation from some posters on this board who think and talk as if they personally already built a dynasty in the NFL.

So if a poster makes a ridiculous speculation that even Ronnie Brown himself would find foolish, it would be wrong to call that member out and we should just let him continue posting immature garbage?

Says the guy who types "okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk". What's wrong with calling someone out? Did I hurt someone's feelings? The guy I am calling out speculated a reason Ronnie could have failed the field sobriety test was because of his foot injury. Seriously, how foolish is that?

I'm not the one questioning others maturity. You are. I never claimed to be mature enough to tell others they lack maturity. You did.
If you are really going to play the foolish idea card, you should probably read your own posts and do a little self reflection before you start down that path.
The moral of the story is as the saying goes "That which you see wrong in others, is usually what you see wrong in yourself." In other words you might want to check yourself before you check others.
