Thanx again everyone....the show went great! I have a question though. Does anyone know if volume can mess up a camcorder? I have one of those new Sony's with a hard drive, and this is the second show my wife has tried to tape for us. It tapes like a m inute, then the screen says "buffering" and the cam shuts itself off. WHen you play the footage that was taken, it's all garbled. I'm thinking that maybe the mic is too sensitive for as loud as the music is. But anyway, we blew the roof off the place and the crowd loved us. Started the set off with everyone back by the bar, by the end of the 1st song the floor in front of the stage was full. I love when that happens.
your next show you should **** with the crowed and go out with baggay *** pants your boxer shorts showing a Shirt 4 sizes too big and Bright Yellow and A BIg Gold Necklace. and your hear braided.
I think my guitarist would disembowel me right on the stage. Subwoofer? No bro...just a 500 watt amp through eight 10 inch speakers....oh yea, then through a 4,000 watt PA system.
I see you took my advice literally, then. As a fellow bass player, I think this would be the ultimate compliment Pagan. It looks like you have no one to blame but yourself- why don't you try taping from the back of the room in a corner somewhere? I've had some success in those locations. Also, taping from the side anywhere from 0 -30 degrees to the band will help to shield the camera from directly encountering the soundwaves. I'm glad the gig went well- it's always a great feeling when you draw an audience over to the stage; it's a validation of the power you hold as a musician. Congrats man!
Bro...she WAS in the back of the room! I guess that low B on my 5er is lethal to hard drive cammys. I'm going to email the manufacturer and see if there's any way to make it work. In the meantime, this is what she managed to get before it freaked out and shut off. The sound is crappy as expected. The guy introducing us is an old friend named Chuck, he makes at least one wiseass comment per show. One time he introduced us as being "freshly back from their tour of Romania." Anyway, at least you can see our stage setup.
bad *** pictures bro! unfortunate name on the photographer there bad choice of guitar too... should have rocked the one you have with the phins logo!
I was wondering how long before someone noticed his name! I don't use the Phins one anymore man. Once I switched to 5 strings my 4 stringers became wall decorations. Gotta make one of my 5ers into a Phins bass.
DO IT! in other news, i really like the lighting you had on stage there.... the colors came out well and looked like a great show. more fog!
The current lineup is Phil Mogg, Andy Parker, Pete Way, Vinnie Moore & Paul Raymond. However, Pete Way couldn't get a visa to come into the country for this tour, so they had Rob DeLuca on bass the night we played with them.
Pagan...I really never got around to just sitting sown and listening to your stuff... WOW. Impressed is not the word. You guys sound so clean. Sharp. Love it. "Aphasia" is one sick song. Then I heard "Dance of the Egyptian king" equally sick. I just love the sound of an angry guitar.
