I'm still thinking Earl Thomas at 12 or trading down. Disappointing about Morgan, I was also starting to think he could be a pick at 12 too.
They showed the video on Path to the Draft, and while he didn't look out right amazing, he also didn't look as smooth as you'd like.
The 12 pick isn't any more a burden or what have you this year than it usually is, your reaction is something that seems to happen every year once the nuts and bolts of the player projected at the pick are looked at.
I'm no scout...but to me, when the pads are on and the bullets are flying, he looks plenty athletic to me...I don't get it.
I thought the general opinion was that Morgan looked adequate at the combine in drills (not great or anything), so with that said if he was better at his pro day, I'm not sure how he struggled.
