Pace, LT, Edwards, etc. No way Rex can control that locker room dynamic....i see the Jets falling HARD when they start to struggle :)

Meh...3 or 4 years ago this would suck. Now, not so much.

I don't get this, this is going to take touches away from a much better, younger player in Washington

This is not a done deal yet. Schefter posted like 20 minutes ago that it's not official yet.

He might not be back. I know NE has shown a lot of interest in him.

Wow. If this happens, the Jets' offense just improved. LT is the ultimate 3rd down back at this point in his career. He could really help Sanchez out.

Need to give the Jesters a little credit, they're being aggressive about building their team. If the players perform up to their expectations, there's no reason they can't return to the AFC Championship Game.

I thought the Jets couldn't sign any FA's?

Not good for us IMO. Not that LT is what he once was. But, he'll compliment and mentor Green and Washington to make their back field better.

I'm not that worried, Thomas Jones is a better player at this point. He'll be good for helping the young guys out but now they really only have one back who can grind it out in games.

LT is not here to be the #1. that is Shonn Greene's job now. TJ broke down at the end of the year. Plus, we have Leon washington. Losing TJ is not a big deal

Good..... too many chefs in the backfield spoils the broth. Wait till LT fumbles the ball a few times in the cold weather. :tongue2:

I realize that but Thomas Jones was still a guy who could play be part of a smashmouth gameplan. I don't see LT doing that. And history says he'll break down well before the end of the year.
