I would like Chris Long with our first draft pick and would love to get Stewart,if he's still around, with our second pick.I originally wanted Fred Davis TE - USC with our second pick. Here's an article on Stewart. I could barely get out a hello to former Oregon star Jonathan Stewart. Stewart, the special running back who dazzled on the collegiate level with a brilliant and beautiful combination of power and speed, recently had surgery to correct turf toe. He treated my introduction like a defender in his path. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7971332
yeah i dont see us picking a RB at all in this draft. Id be very very surprised if we did. we just dont need one. We have too many other needs to fill... like OL, WR, TE, CB etc... etc.. thanks for the link though
I agree with you TM,but you don't always draft for"needs" sometimes it's better to take the best available player(BAP).
I think that hes the best back in this draft and I would love to have him on this team .........but we have plenty of running backs. I still think that he goes in mid first round possibly to Arizona or Houston. Like other posters said, we just have too many needs to take a running back early.
RB is the one position that we are good with. we need poeple who are going to start with our 2nd rd picks
If you have a Dan Marino on your squad, you just don't draft a Peyton Manning, sometimes you have too many holes to fill to take BPA. I really think BPA is the most overused and underdrafted statement in this league.
Sometimes.IMO we don't have a "Dan Marino"(btw that would mean best ever to me) at RB.Ronnie has yet to prove he can "carry the load" for a full year.Btw I would've killed to have had a "Peyton Manning"in 93'...
Even if we were going to take a RB early, which wouldn't really make sense to me, there's no way Stewart is still available in the 2nd round.
