I dunno WTF it is... It's not like there's a whole crap load of plays to pick from. The CPU returns kicks against me rather easily. Almost one per game. It's soooo annoying. No matter which way i kick, which player I select. It's like every return man can cut and juke my whole team.
i always kick it deep down the middle....pick the first player, and zig zag through the blockers.....and either make a hit or force him into my team mates
It's like my whole team gets pushed on the their backs.. Then the return man hurdles a guy and it's TD.
sounds cliche....but practice. you'll eventually start to know what way they are going right before they do it...
Choose kickoff left....run straight at the returner. He will either go left or right. If he goes to his right, bump him out of bounds. If he goes to his left someone should clean up for you if you miss. Try just controlling one player til you get better.
I know what you mean. I'm guessing your "run defense" difficulty is at All-Madden. God help you with breaking blocks/not getting pancaked.
After I kick I switch over to one of the outside guys and bring him in, zig zagging throiugh the blockers and going straight towards the returner. I normally stop them between the 15 and 25 yard line every time using this method. I play way too much Madden tho so that just may be part of it.
