    I am mostly available during the day. I could play Thursday or Friday between 11:30am and 2:30pm Eastern Standard Time. Maybe super late Thursday, like 2am kinda thing too.

    Otherwise, I'm busy until Sunday night or Monday.

    i have an idea... For anyone interested in doing this, we can create a new LOCKED STICKIED thread that has all of the required info (people's teams, aims, phones, etc) and info on the league. This way stuff isnt lost in 300+ posts of regular season talk

    Cleveland Browns Draft Recap:

    1 = Jack English QB (Starter)
    2 = De'Adrian Virges FS (Starter)
    2 = Jawan Williams CB (Starter)
    4 = Joseph Rugg LE (Starter)
    4 = Artavious Kassem MLB (2nd string)
    4 = Khambrel Grant LOLB (2nd string)
    5 = Matt Timothy TE (3rd string)
    5 = Randall Dunn SS (2nd string)
    6 = Graham Gallon WR (4th WR)
    7 = Davonte Knapp CB (Special Teams)
    7 = J. Alleyne WR (CUT)

    RECAP
    wow, 10 contributors out of 11 drafted and 4 starters with 5th when in 4 WR sets makes a solid draft. Those top 4 selections all contributing significant playing time in the new 4-3 aggressive D style. Kiper only gave the Browns a B -, but McShay correctly assessed the the contribution of Virges and Williams with his solid A grade.

    The only down side is that E. Mangini cannot be fired and whenever he throws the challenge flag and his name is mentioned all of Cleveland throws up in their mouth a little.

    Mr. Irrelevant (J. Alleyne WR) of the 2010 Draft was cut following an inconsistent spring....and his Lis Franc injury to his left foot never completely healed, thus hurting his speed rating and key reason he was given the shot at all. Training camp fodder exists boys and girls.

    I did mine from writing and tracking what transpired last night.

    Ravens draft.

    1. Barclay, Taurean #80 WR (starter)
    2. Blansit, Marvin #11 WR (4th string)
    3. Squirek, Stanley #87 TE (2nd string)
    4. Harris, Jelan #51 LOLB (bench)
    5. Somerville, Adam #22 CB (bench)
    6. Ray, Corey #20 CB (kick and punt returner)
    7. Brown, Josh #12 QB (bench)

    Ravens got much needed speed on their offense. With the trade for Tory Holt, the passing offense of the Ravens can actually be a passing offense. Tauren Barclay is a good all around receiver with size and speed. Blasit needs to improve his route running, however is a decent at catching, good speed as well. Stanley Squirek's speed and catch now allows the two tight end set to not be automatically running formation like it was last year.

    Jalen Harris is fast yet is a disappointment as his potential is not good at all. He will probably be cut next year for next years draft so I know who will be cut.

    Somerville and Ray were taken due to their speed. Both of them have crappy potential, however should improve the speed of special teams. Surprising to the coach, Ray is actually a good returner and is going to get a chance to use his speed on the field.

    Josh Brown will enjoy his one season in the NFL before he will be cut.

    Coach Dupree went into this draft to do one thing. Improve the speed of the offense. The defense already has good starters and pretty good depth. The offensive line as well. Yet recievers were really lacking speed. Now with this offseason Mason is the 6th wide receiver and Clayton is now in the slot.

    The passing attack that lead the league in passing just got more dangerous.

    Draft Grade C

    Chiefs Draft

    1) Josh Sneed ROLB (Starter)
    2) Dexter Knox LOLB (Starter)
    3 From Cleveland) R. J. Fields CB (3rd string)
    3) Rico Pitts DT ( Starter)
    4) Traded to Cleveland
    5) Steve Lucious Wr (Starter #2 WR)
    6) Pearson Devaughn Wr ( 4th String)
    7) Vlad Humphrey CB (Return specialist)

    Heading into the draft it was no surprise that Coach Parker wanted to revamp the defense and that is exactly what he and his staff did, adding 3 defensive starters and 1 contributer in dime and quarter packages. When the 2009 season ended the Chiefs desperately needed a LOLB but the unsurprising retirement of Zach Thomas left the team with only two starting linebackers in a 3-4 defensive alignment.

    With linebacker now a priority for the Chiefs they grabbed two future stars with their first two picks. Sneed and Knox are instant starters with A potential and will immediately shore up what was once a shaky unit. In fact right after drafting Sneed, Coach Parker was heard to say that he could be the best linebacker in Chiefs history.

    Other defensive players drafted were CB R.J. Fields, DT Rico Pitts and CB Vlad Humphrey. Fields will never be a star but instead will be a solid contributor in multiple DB packages. Fields has great speed and excels in man coverage so he should rarely let his man by him. Pitts while not being the best all-around athlete, is good at what he does and that is creating havoc inside. He is a strong athlete that can lay the wood on running backs and quarterbacks. Not only is he strong but he has a a high motor and is very good at getting off his blocks. With their last pick the Chiefs took CB Vlad Humphrey who will probably never see the field as anything other than a return man. But make no doubt about it, he is good at that.

    Switching over to the other side of the ball, the Chiefs only took two offensive players both of whom were wide receivers. This too comes as no surprise because their wide receiver core was very average last year, and the retirement of #2 WR Bobby Engram (was was arguably the most consistent) didn't help much. With their 5th round pick the Chiefs took Steve Lucious who according to analysts doesn't have too much potential, and then they followed that pick with Pearson Devaughn who Mel Kiper graded to have an F potential. When asked why they drafted WR's with such low ceilings Coach Parker responded with this;

    "I don't care what Mel Kiper thinks personally, we drafted these two young men because we believe they can benefit our team. Steve is pretty good at catching the football especially when people are around him, but he can absolutely jump and make that spectacular catch. We are starting him as our number 2 because that's what we look for. If he can improve his route running then we feel he'll be a solid compliment to Dwayne Bowe. As for as Pearson we are starting him as our number 4 wideout, but he as a knack for catching the ball in traffic. Something we look for in our 4 and our slot in particular. So if he keeps improving he could see significant time at the slot in the future."

    Well that sums up our draft review for the 2010 drafts and we have to say it was a pretty good one, and we give the Chiefs a B+/A-

    I started an offline franchise with the Vikings, made the same trades (released Favre etc) and now I am simming the season over and over until I get 'our' draft ckass to appear so I can draft the same guys. I'll trade for them if I have to.

    Then I'll be able to practice using the correct team personnel.

    Fin-Oatmeal, sorry for playing without you. I didn't know you were going to pick Dallas.
    Sick, how are my players working out for you? Stewart is crazy. I didn't know he could shake off so many tacklers, lol. Rushed for 100 plus yards with Stewart and Jacobs. And both got less than 20 carries.
