Myron and Antrel are not related. Myron however is the cousin of Samari Rolle.

Either way, IMO, Antrel isn't as great as many here seem to believe he is. He may be a Miami native, Homestead to be exact, and he may want to play for Miami, but there are probably better options for upgrading FS.

Nick Collins, O.J Otogwe, and Darren Sharper are out there

 

Word. All 3 are head and shoulders above Antrel Rolle as safeties. Personally, I'd love to see us get Collins.

 

Problem being both Otogwe and Collins will be RFA unless a new CBA is done.
Sharper is 34. To be honest my thinking is that the Saints will try to hang on to him. If they can't at least he will be a UFA.
With Rolle the article was suggesting that it was possible he would be cut. Making him free to sign with whomever.
He's the most likely choice among the 4.

 

The problem is that we don't have a true coverage linebacker who can cover the tight ends. Having one of those will take some pressure off of both safeties at let them just play a Cover 2 or Cover 3 which is what Gibril did so well in with the Giants.

 

And this is why I think we should draft McClain, if he is there. He can cover. No more getting eaten alive at will by pass catching TE's.

 

He struggles to turn and run but he does get in great position to make plays.
