I'm attempting to set up a FTP server between my windows machine (laptop) and my desktop (linux).

I want to keep storage space to a minimum on my laptop and have 300 gigs on my desktop hard drive and 500 gigs on an additional external.

I would like to get the files from my laptop to my desktop, but my desktop does not recognize the external hard drive (one of the pains of linux), and I'm not about to install WINE on linux.

    Summary.

I want to connect my windows machine and my linux machine. I have Filezilla installed on both and a localhost set up on my linux machine.

    Help
