I brew beer,in copious amounts. So far I had gotten very lucky and never heard the worst noise on earth from the storage area. The tell tale crack of broken glass.I had to sop a chocalate stout off the storage areas floor today. Pray for a dead soldier boys
ah, well how'd your carboy break? shelf collapse? we have both glass carboiys and plastic 5 gallon buckets.. kinda use whatever is available/clean at the time but the buckets are a lot more... durable
Naw it was just one of my beers(I take them seriously),I dont use carboys because Ive seen them rupture the vent valve too many times.I know its more old school to use carboys, but Im more concerned about the product on the other end of the line. What I think happened,is with this weather, its been allmost impossable to keep my storage area at a consistent temperature,I was surpised it was a chocolate stout that went, considering thats a pretty low sugar content beer. I would have guessed it would have been one of the peach honey wheats that went boink.
